Summary

She’s got probable cause to make her move....

Danika Silva can’t stand Lt. Greer Burns. Her roommate’s older brother may be sexy as hell, but he’s also a cold, unfeeling robot. She just wants to graduate and forget about her scowling superior. But when a dangerous mistake lands Danika on probation - under Greer’s watch - she’s forced to interact with the big, hulking jerk. Call him daily to check in? Done. Ride shotgun in his cruiser every night? Done. Try not to climb into his giant, muscular lap and kiss him? Umm....

Greer doesn’t let anything - or anyone - distract him from the job. Except lately, all he can think about is Danika. He’s wanted the beautiful, cocky recruit since the moment he saw her. But she’s reckless and unpredictable, and Greer is painfully aware of what can happen when an officer doesn’t follow the rules. Probation seemed like a good idea, but now Danika’s scent is in his car and he’s replayed her voicemails 20 times. Christ, he’s a goner.

Danika’s melting Greer’s stone-cold exterior one ride-along at a time. Being together could have serious consequences...but breaking a few rules never hurt anybody, right?

Another great from Tessa Bailey

I enjoyed this story and the characters the first time reading it. However the male narrator was good the female was a little irritating and slow she almost sounded bored.

Yes Sir!!!

I enjoyed Danica & Grier's story. it was filled with intense passion, desire & pain. Tessa Bailey wrote a powerful peace here but Jacob Morgan & Lola Canela brought this story to life. I must admit that I have a book boyfriend crush on Mr. Morgan but don't tell my husband 😉

I enjoyed this book so much more than the first one in this, series. I'm hoping for more in the series.

This my very own opinion and yours may differ. However with nearly 800 Audible titles in my library I know what I like. If you click buy, I hope you enjoy as much as I did.

Disturb my peace anytime!!!! 👏👏👏

I was trolling the romance library looking for a new, hot, sexy and different story. Found it here. And Jacob Morgan didn't let me down as usual. I loved this book and the narration. I'f you're an audible junkie like me, you know how passionate, playful, and sexy Jacob Morgans voice is. Audacious!!! He was yummy in this book and I loved it and the story. Pleasantly surprised and worth 5 stars and more than 1 credit. Deliciously narrated and written. I freaking need more like this one. 💥💥💥💥 Well done Tessa.

And let's not forget about Lola. I hadn't heard her before but eventually I really warmed up to her style and she and Jacob held this one together awesomely. I would definitely listen to her again.

new

This is a new author for me and also a new female narrator. But it was a fantastic story with fantastic characters and the hotness level was off the charts! So I'd definitely read another story by Ms. Bailey. And, of course, I'd listen to Jacob Morgan read the nutritional label on the side of a cereal box! Yeah...he's that good...

Good Story

This was an enjoyable story but the female narrator was absolutely terrible and difficult to listen to. She used a "depressed monotone robot" voice that just ruined this audio book for me. The male narrator was good though. Overall, I would recommend reading this book instead of listening.

Jacob Morgan's voice is AWESOME!!

I am so happy to have Audible in my life... when stress or the blues get in my way I put in my earbuds and become part of the story. I have listened to 316 audioooks and have 15 badges. I listened to my very first book in 2020. What a rush.

So good

I wasn't sure about the female lead but she really did a wonderful job covering the aloofness of the heroine and Jacob Morgan is immaculate. Wonderful!!!

I expected cheesy, and even cringey

“turned my dial from mildly horny millennial to sex starved kerfuffle of hormones.”
The 80s cover promised all kinds of cheesy cringe, but with Jacob Morgan narrating, I took a chance.
Turns out, this was fun, sexy, and delicious. Yes, narrator Canela took some getting used to (upping the speed helped, and also imagining Eva Mendez as Danika). Yes, some of the police recruit-instructor-danger stuff was over the top. And, yes, there was cheese. But, this cheddar was sharp and sassy
and I did not cringe.

“I was vacillating between congratulating myself for avoiding an inappropriate situation and asking if it was possible to kick my own A.”
This was a May-December romance with a Lieutenant who didn’t know he was a dom and a recruit
who didn’t know how much she needed to give up control. It was written with humor, heart, and a whole lotta heat. And whoo, Jacob Morgan’s dirty talk delivers in all the best ways. Mouthy. Multiple. Magnificent.

Meh

Only thing that got me through this book is Jacob’s narration. Lola was horrible. There was no emotions from her... her voice was monotone and slooooow. I also felt like the female character was lacking depth. For a cadet close to graduation she made some horrible and awful decisions. Might have been more believable if she was just starting training.
