About this listen
Brought to you by Puffin.
Puffin presents stories for five-year-olds from master storyteller Dick King-Smith.
This collection includes King-Smith's stories for younger listeners, including Dinosaur School!
In Dinosaur School Basil Brontosaurus is teased at playschool by all the other little dinosaurs, who call him stupid. His mother tells him he's special because he has two brains—one in his head and one is his back. Basil is so pleased that he starts to throw his weight around at playschool. That is, until he meets a large Tyrannosaurus rex!
The other stories included in this collection are: 'Blessu', 'Dumpling', 'Henry the Pond Poet', 'Happy Mouse Day' and 'Under the MishMash Tree'.

Flawless, Charming, Simply Magic!
The title of this Audiobook fits perfectly here. The choice of stories from Dick King-Smith, in terms of length and imagination, couldn't have been better - same case with casting Andrew Horton as the Storyteller. He has the perfect voice and a good range to bring out the emotion and personality in the vast number of characters here. His reading of 'Henry Pond the Poet' is a particular favourite of mine =)
The only thing I do find odd is the story 'Under the Mishmash Trees', which was included in a previous DKS audiobook release some months earlier. Still, one can say that there's now *two* versions of the same story to enjoy!
