Summary

It was just another sunny day at the coast when a life was changed forever...

What started as a prank for a young girl resulted in the elevation of a crab's existence. Now, wrenched from its happy life at the beach, the crab...HAS AWAKENED.

Sir Crabby finds himself thrust into sapience. Into a world filled with creatures both mundane and magical, a world where evil lurks beneath the waves.

Join Sir Crabby as he travels beneath the ocean, discovering power, adventuring forth and searching for his young friend as he's thrust into the Eternal Conflict of Arthos.

Bestseller Ryan Rimmel, author of Noobtown, teams up with Boe Hagen to bring you this hilarious and unique LitRPG Series about the most unlikely of heroes who gains access to a System, and all the wacky adventures that ensue.

Sorry - the Narrator Ruined it for me

Really was looking forward to listening to a Ryan Rimmel story - but I struggled to finish this due to the Narrator - so much so that I have difficulty deciding if the story was good or not. I am afraid that the monotonic delivery turned me off.

Would love to give it another go - with a different narrator - may even try changing the play speed to change the tone..

That was awesome

God it was perfect man, I laughed my butt off the whole time and man Phil does such a good job of keeping the mood right. When it’s dark he’s dark when it’s dumb and fun you can hear his grin as he reads it it’s so good. Ryan and Boe great work guys.

If you lived mayor of noob town you’ll love this. Gonna go check out Boe’s library next.

I tried. But just could not get through it.

I really tried, but just could not do it. Tried it because I enjoyed Rimmels other books but this one is just to immature for me.

Totally delightful.

I picked this book up mostly because of the cover, the title, and the genre (litRPG). And wow I wasn't disappointed. It was totally delightful! So much so that it quickly landed on my top favorite's of the year!
The explanation of how Sir Crabby became sentient was just precious and delightful! Yeah, I loved Sir Crabby aka Crabby McCrabbyface. And soon he was diving into a dungeon along with the help of Luna the starfish and Todd the sea urchin as they set about clearing the dungeon.
So grab the audiobook, and get to know the author and narrator, because they have a story for you!

You don't even hafta take my word for it. Here some quotes that had me chuckling...

"Wait, am I thinking?"
"Hide like a cuttlefish, blend like an octopus."
"PPS if you break anything else I'm coming down there and bringing my smite button."
"And if I ever hear you talk about some carp leaping over a dragons gate again I'm going to disown you..."
"This evolution isn't bottom of the shell but it's pretty close.
Awww Aether responded, that would explain the under tones of condemned souls.
Bring out your dead.
An elf standing in a human village wearing a sign that says "I hate humans" has either got some serious personal issues, or not all his dogs are barking."
"Todd."

Whimsical and fun

Beautifully light hearted, the story wastes no time jumping into the action from the very prologue.

The lore and pop culture references were tastefully done, excited for the next in the series

So much fluff

Boring, uninspiring, awkward anatomy (starfish with a head to shake?) Noobtown much more enjoyable.

it's a fun story with an optimistic MC

The MC is optimistic and the story takes fun in calling out how things are ludicrous.

I do like the hidden jokes and how much they confuse the characters.

Piranha check haha

Love this and the hints at your other books. A piranha check will turn you into a twitchy fool. Only one person you could be referring to and I love it. For Wind and Windfall and Mayor Jim!!!!!!!!!
