Brandon Ford is demented And I love it

First off let me just say you should definitely make sure you read pillow talk and famous last words and just know these are two out of 18 a really great horror stories. I see aura but this is next level stuff. When you think of sick demented OMG I can’t look you’re going to think of Brandon Ford. All his books are sick and next level horror. He doesn’t play around with ghosts nor does he do jump scares it is just words on a page and they will leave you reeling And wishing you would have read it during the day. At least I know I did. I love Brandon board books and although the narrator was OK I mean she did the job she was paid to do I just think she would sound better doing a different genre of book. I mean I liked her voice just not for this book. But this is just one opinion and yours may differ. Having said that I still highly recommend it it’s 18 great stories but as I said pillow talk and famous last words left my head spinning.

Despicable Stories

I only liked a few stories from this book and the others fell short. The book is descriptive and some stories are well written. Warning this book contains stories of animal cruelty and torture. I received this book for free and I am sorry I did. The beautiful voice of Alexandra Johnston could not even save this book in my opinion. This is my honest review.

Dang!

That was so unexpected! Decayed Etchings is a collection of Urban Legends where it doesn't matter if you're a decent person or not.. life is not prejudice. I loved this book! Brandon Ford might be the next Stephen King?? The narrator is on point too!

Darkness within

This is a sic dark collection of short stories that I had to swallow hard to keep the bile from coming out of my stomach and throat while listening to. Beyond depraved!!! If you like dark, this goes beyond that and a bit more. Careful you don't fall victim while listening!!!! I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator was okay but I think a male narrator would have fit better for these stories.

Wonderfully Twisted

A collection of 18 dark, suspenseful stories.

Each story ended with a twist, some more surprising than others. While most of these stories were straight horror, there were a few dark humor pieces mixed into the bunch as well.

My favorites in the collection were:

The Suiter: A one-night stand goes horribly wrong.

Sledgehammer: A solider fed up with the sounds of construction work takes matters into their own hands.

Camera Shy: A hitman with a habit of recording his victims prior to the kill.

The narration brought every story to life.

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.
