Summary

A full-cast BBC Radio 4 dramatisation of an Agatha Christie story. On a flight from Le Bourget to Croydon, on which Hercule Poirot is an apprehensive passenger, a woman is found dead. A doctor on board is inclined to put it down to a wasp-sting, but Poirot suspects that a poisoned dart is the real cause - and, perhaps rather too conveniently, a blow pipe is discovered stuffed down the back of his seat.

Clearly, the murder can only have been committed by one of the passengers or crew on the plane. But which one? Poirot, Japp, and M. Fournier of the Surete will make their way through shoals of red herrings before reaching an utterly unexpected conclusion.

Those little grey cells.....

...do it again! Wonderfully dramatised. It really has it all, atmospheric and a great story acted out to perfection.
Heartily recommend for a very relaxing listen.

Excellent Christie Takes You Sky High

As I own the full collection of Agatha Christie’s Radio works, I can repeat myself no more but will say; this is typical of what to expect and fulfils and ticks all the right boxes. As with all of Christie’s plays, these are so good that you will listen to them over and over and still enjoy them as you did the first time and will listen again.

These plays are beautifully produced & directed. They are full casts brought to life by some of the top names in film and theatre. John Moffat plays a perfect radio Hercule. Of course, for TV David Suchet is the true Master of the kinky moustached sleuth. If you love Agatha Christie you will love and enjoy these.

Simply superb!

The Queen of Crime, Dame Agatha Christie, tells a superb story, with a wonderful ending, clearly very close to her own heart, where our heroine finds new love as part of an archeological exploration. Beautifully characterised by a fantastic cast headed by John Moffat, the truly distinctive radio voice of Hercule Poirot. An excellent performance.

Audible - Agatha Christie

What a superb dramatized audio book for the great Mistress of Crime herself.
A pat on the back to BBC for making this.
