Apollo was just released from prison after serving time for a crime he didn't commit. Now he needs to form a plan to get close to the man who is responsible for putting him there.

Sierra is in Vegas with two friends to celebrate and cut loose. She has a controlling father that keeps her on a tight leash and has even gone as far as to pay her friends to report back to him. A dare from her friends has her hooking up with a random stranger. A night of great sex, no last names and no promises for the future.

Now Sierra's back home and her one night stand has given something to remember him by. When theirs paths cross for the second time, loyalties will be tested. Will Apollo follow through with his plan of revenge or will his attachment to Sierra change both of their lives forever. Not chemistry!

I asked to receive this Audible book and wrote this unbiased review. Roxy Sinclaire has such a wonderful talent for writing such fascinating character and plot developments. Sierra and Apollo first meet and there is red hot chemistry between them. We watch this chemistry develop into trust and love. This story has suspense, intrigue, illegal activity, betrayal, hidden secrets, hot sensual love scenes, acceptance of truths about your parents, and people working together to correct wrongs. It held my attention the whole time and I really enjoyed the story. The narrator does an excellent job of portraying the emotions and personalities of these characters. She is so easy to listen to. I highly recommend this Audible book.

Mafia Love

I loved the storyline of the book and the characters. What would be better is to have a male voice with the female voice. It would make the story low better.

Instant attraction between Sierra and Apollo when she met him at a tattoo parlor in Las Vegas. She was celebrating graduating nursing school with her friends in Las Vegas. She normally doesn't do one night stands but, she took a chance knowing she would never see him again. This is a story of revenge, betrayal, fear, secrets to hide, finding out truths, plotting against someone you love. I enjoyed the story and the narration by Holly Holt. She brought the story to life. I was gifted the audio and offered my honest review.

Beautifully written

Deadly Ink had an almost poetic air to it, the way its imagery was handled. I throughly enjoyed this.

A MAN FALLS FOR THE ONE WOMAN HE SHOULDN’T !

Sierra and her friends are out partying when they find themselves in a tattoo parlor. This is out of the ordinary for Sierra. Sierra is the responsible one of the group. The one who makes sure everyone is being taken care of. Not tonight though. Tonight, they are celebrating. Apollo, fresh out of prison, is already there getting a tattoo. Apollo sees Sierra and to his surprise, he is meeting up with her later. Later, turns into a one night stand. Sierra hasn't had many of those, actually this isn't like her at all. Alcohol, pressure from her friends to let loose and a hot guy were enough persuasion to make it happpen.
After one wild, sex filled night, Apollo and Sierra go their separate ways. Sierra, to her new life with a fulfilling career she was born to do. Apollo? Well he needs to take care of some unfinished business with the man who took away five years of his life. Apollo doesn't just want revenge, he needs it.
Apollo and Sierra's paths would cross again soon, and then all he!! would break loose. When they parted after their one night together, they thought they would never see each other again. Fate had other plans. And fate wasn't finished with them yet.

Intertwining love and mafia story

Apollo, just out of prison, is ready for revenge. When he meets Sierra and has a one night stand with her, their lives intertwine in both positive and negative ways. Will their love stand the ultimate test?

This was a well paced and intriguing story. The author did a great job of building up suspense and intertwining the characters. I was interested and entertained throughout.

Holly narrated very well. I love her energy and her voice is very pleasant to listen to. She made the book even more enjoyable for me.

dark and twisted

double dealing, backstabbing, and mountains of lies and secrets. This is so action packed edge of your seat story, and moves quickly, so hold on tight. I was glad some victims got a second chance at happiness that they deserved. The narrator really brought the story to life. Total enjoyment.

Loved it

I really loved this story. The only issue is that seemed rushed but didn't seem rushed if thay makes sense. It ended with me wanting to know more about the characters. I loved the narrator. I like how she didn't force a man's voice for Appolo's character.
