Summary

After his childhood is turned upside down, orphan David Copperfield is forced to navigate and survive the brutal world of the industrial poor. Book is rather long but beautifully read

This book took Dickinson 3 years to write and it may be partly autobiographical? Wonderful characters as you would expect, the story is a slow burn which eventually reaches a satisfactory ending for the main players.
