Wonderful Story!

I have really enjoyed listening to Fern reading this in depth tale of this Cornish family. She has clearly done a huge amount of research. The lives of the women who take centre stage are cleverly woven into the tale, and the end is just right! Fern’s narration is clear and expressive. An excellent listen!

Wow a wonderful listen

Fern, what a wonderful book made even more interesting because it was based on your Uncle Bertie. Every chapter full of twists and turns, characters bought to light by your wonderful reading and not a dry eye... a book to give as a present to the ones you love thank you. Would love a follow up on the family x

Fantastic storytelling of family lines.

Written and read so well by Fern I could smell the Cornish sea air, feel the silk fabrics and taste the cups of tea. What a beautiful story.
