Summary
I'm going to kill my hunter. He's turned me into something that shouldn't be magically possible, so now I have this to deal with on top of everything else.
Well...I might as well make lemonade out of these freakin' lemons. Yep, that's right Mr. Broody Hunter, I'm going to take these newborn powers you thrust upon me and stop sitting on the sidelines. I'm done taking orders from others and you, and I'm done waiting for the supernatural forces to fix my problems.
I'm going to solve the mystery that's been weaving itself around me for far too long, especially when it becomes crystal clear that the key my nemesis has been seeking has been buried inside me all along.

Things her mother warned about are getting real!
Tala is in hiding. But that doesn't stop bad things happening. So the only choice is to face her enemy head on. But the enemy is strong and the warning her mother told her about her power are about to get real. Also her worst fear is realised with Kaillen. Honestly the ending wrecked me. I need to know what's happens next. A lovely story of love, loss and supernaturals.

This review is for books 2 and 3 of the series
First book, fantastic as reported in my previous review. Books 2 and 3, got increasingly more irritating.. With the female lead, wittering a whining continually (internal monologue and externally) about the validity of the male leads true feelings for her. Because of her continously backing off, it stunted the flow of the story.
Ffs nowadays and when I was young.. In the 80s, if you had an all consuming passion for someone.. You just sleep with them.. Don't whinge, run away from him and be a a*sehole about his true feelings for 2 books.. Boring. The end of this 3rd book, things are looking up a bit, but I'll reserve judgement until I've read book 4.

Very irritating heroine
Book 1 started off interesting enough but the heroine became more & more irritating in 2&3 to the point I could not even finish the last chapter in book 3 in the hope that there would be a recoverable plot twist. Real shame, haven’t got the energy to listen to book 4.
