But there is more to learn. There is more to explore and discover. So here is my suggestion, Einstein: I believe your brain has great potential, but only if you use it. My invitation is to use it by listening to this book. And I would be crazy if I wouldn’t reveal some of the specific topics you will be faced with.

Story
Critical thinking is a skill every person should possess. Sadly, it is all too common to follow the heard, to get stuck in old patterns or traditions, and to not see through the lies and deception of the world, whether intended or unintended. Reasoning can be a dangerous place for those who do not have the power or will to think for themselves. Moreover, it requires a little bit of an intelligence level to do so, and a skeptical mind too. Nevertheless, no matter how you spin it, critical thinking is an important thing to learn more about.

Decision-making, rational thinking, contemplation, weighing pros and cons, and foreseeing the future...What do all these things have in common? They are related to the ability to think critically, to be skeptical, and to take all factors into account when look at different sides of a problem. You can better cause your future to be a bright one by looking at the consequences of your reasoning from a different perspective. The skill to step back and think about things has often been minimized but is about to be brought back and given the proper attention.

Story
Stoicism, one of the oldest Western philosophical schools, has enchanted scholars and the general public alike for over 2,000 years. Where some accounts of human nature and the particularly human good fall short by the reduction of human being to physical or psychical phenomena, Stoicism's power lies in engaging with the whole range of human experience, addressing rationality, emotion, piety, will, and both inner and outer impressions, each on their own terms, in language that treats each as significant in its own right.

It's often claimed that some people - fundamentalists or fanatics - are indeed sealed off from rational criticism. And every month new pop psychology books appear, describing the dumb ways ordinary people make decisions, as revealed by psychological experiments.

Story
Thinking outside the box means applying existing knowledge in new, unexpected ways to come up with new ideas and solutions. This is an essential skill in today’s fast-changing world. But saying “think outside the box” isn’t enough - you have to be aware of the box before you can think outside it. The scientific name for this imaginary box is “mental model”. Mental models are useful because they help you learn. They help you make sense of new information and attach it to your existing knowledge. But, at the same time, they can limit your thinking.

Story
Critical thinking can be defined as "finding out how to think better by enhancing one's thinking skills". People who are critical thinkers use the thinking procedure to evaluate, consider, reflect on, and piece together what they have learned or are currently learning. Unfortunately, much of everybody's thinking tends to be prejudiced, imprecise, uncertain, uninformed, or even sexist or racist. Since this ends up being significantly limiting, critical thinking is needed to improve its quality and value.
Summary
Society needs deep thinkers. It needs people who don’t blindly follow the crowd. It needs people who can think for themselves. But how do you go about doing this? Well, one of the first things to be able to control better is your emotions.
This audiobook will touch on that as it covers the basics and more of stoicism, points out how to overcome stress factors, and shows how predispositions can more easily be put aside.
Last but not least, the way these patterns, feelings, and this logic are discussed in the classroom is laid out. Quotes about happiness, self-deceptions, and ethical principles will be thrown into the intellectual and literary debate. This is one of the best books on these particular topics.

Interesting book
I was sincerely intrigued by the words in this book. The narrator has done a great job, and so has the author. The information was spot on. Stoicism is an interesting topic, I think. So that's why I recommend others to get this book as well.
