About this listen

Repairman Jack, F. Paul Wilson’s vigilante hero first seen in the New York Times best seller The Tomb, returns in a thriller that thrusts Jack back into the weird, supernatural world that he thrives in. Looking for clues to the mysterious disappearance of leading conspiracy theorist Melanie Ehler, Jack attends a convention of bizarre and avid conspiracy theorists. It’s a place where aliens are real, the government is out to get you, and the world is hurtling toward an inevitable war of good versus evil incarnate.

Jack finds that nobody can be trusted - and that few people are what they seem. Worse yet, Jack’s been having vivid dreams that make him wonder whether he’s headed for a clash with his own past - maybe The Tomb’s evil rakoshi beasts aren’t through with him quite yet.

Critic reviews

" The Tomb is one of the best all-out adventure stories I’ve read in years." (Stephen King [president of the Repairman Jack fan club])

Book by book I’m being drawn deeper and deeper into this incredible, expansive mythology as the battle between good and evil heats up. Seriously, I cannot recommend these books enough and in particular, conspiracies. If the reader is looking for a intelligent mix between sci-fi, horror and thriller then they’ve definitely come to the right place. Sit back, turn the lights down and join Jack as he battles an entity book by book intent on destroying life as we know it.

liked the idea and the build of characters
a little too many side stories at times. Seemed more about the author sharing his research with limited links to the main story. However, great ending

Good pace

I thoroughly enjoyed this book from start to finish. Well paced, great dialogue and a story that keeps you guessing as well as engaged. Repairman Jack at his best.

This instalment links back to both previous books nicely, in a way you don't at first expect. It is quickly becoming one of my all time favourite book series.

Another absolute classic

I’m so book wormy HAPPY! While desperately searching for something new to read I came across a random recommendation for the Repairman Jack books on a forum. So glad I did.

These first 3 books have been a joy to listen to and I’m already completely invested in the recurrent characters and the weird otherworldly mystery Jack is becoming more and more embroiled in.

I intend to spend the next month or two totally ‘binge listening’ every one of these books. In fact my only problem now is that my yearly book credit allowance will easily be used up months before it’s due for renewal and I’ll have to buy loads of extra credits lol. Say thanks to F. Paul Wilson Audible!

If, like me, you like Dresden & Orphan X then I think you’ll fall for the irrepressible Repairman Jack too.

I’m Loving Repairman Jack
