currently considering buying a horse so thought I'd give this a read. really loved the stories and found myself wanting to talk to mark. it had me in tears at the end as felt I also new the 'old man'
and loved his respect towards his horses. the narrator really suited the story. I will listen to further books by this author.

Interesting perception on horsemanship

This is a fantastic book! It was very informative and evoked a whole range of emotions. Even my young daughter and her friend (10yrs) enjoyed listening to it in the car.

Both practical and theoretical.

I loved this book it contains both practical and theoretical information. It has good, engaging stories that you can get information from. But it also gives you a ideology of horsemanship that’s well worth considering. I love the narration, it was straightforward but empathetic.

Excellent

Whilst this book was written a while ago it is still as pertinent today as it will ever be. With its revisions and reflections it highlights where Mark was at in his training at the time to where he is now. The information and insight we MUST have as riders and owners of these beautiful animals is paramount.

Wherever you are in your horsemanship journey, this is a great addition to my ever growing knowledge. Thank you.

Another great book

Just another great book with so much learning and personable accessible information. My favourite part for me (though sad) was in the last chapter of how animals try to communicate with us. It would make relationships with our animals so much better as well as more productive if we would try to understand what they are trying to tell us a little more. I love Mark Rachid's writing style.
