Thought provoking , gripping emotional and brave.

The story is amazing, I could not stop listening, the honesty , bravery and tales on and off the road just goes to show that Rob Halford is the true metal good.

I have been a metal fan for about 30 years and a priest fan since hearing Painkiller, i had to pause the book after every chapter just so I could listen to the albums again with new ears.

If you are a metal fan strap yourselves in.

Although not the best narrator having Rob Halford reading his story adds to the enjoyment of this book. I loved the Priest info and sympathised with his struggles with his sexuality, although not being a gay man myself the no holds barred accounts of sexual liaisons made me blush at times. Informative, funny, sad and inspiring Rob Halford is not just a metal god but a top down to earth bloke.

I really enjoyed listening to Rob Halford narrating his own life. His voice and puns are really cool to hear and the stories are told in such a down to earth a genuine way that it’s fit to every metal gods in training 🤘

I've always been a big fan of Rob Halford and Judas Priest, and this book far exceeded my expectations. I knew it was going to be good. My other half raved about it when I bought it for him, so I had to get the audible version for myself. I was not disappointed. It was brilliantly narrated by Rob himself, and his story resonated with me on so many different levels. This book is truly inspiring and has filled me with such admiration for this amazing man. His strength and courage I am sure, will inspire many others too.
