Too broad
I’m afraid to say that this book is just terrible. After 1 1/2 hours I cannot take no more of the lack of detail and overly repeated words.
Additionally the narrator has a whilstle in their voice every time an S or a C is pronounced.
Misleading title too.

misguiding
OK book overall but narrator does not know the difference between bit and byte which is fundamental in this field. can be misguiding for beginners.

Good guide
This book is helpful, but at first, it seems to be filled with a lot of technical information and jargon. However, after listening through the chapters and going back and reviewing, I understood the material much better.

Network Security
I bought this book for an information security advanced networking class and have found it useful. I found it to be a good companion for my other computer networking books. Specifically, it goes into detail about how encryption algorithms work with descriptive figures which helped me to understand the topic.

Copy & Paste much?
There's good info here, but a ridiculous amount of repition, as if the author was just trying to fill pages rather than convey knowledge in a structured approach. Skip.

Good start!
It's a very good starting book for understanding communication systems, in a practical sense. It’s actually easier to understand than the actual study guide! It will be more helpful in my networking journey.

Brutal listen
I have no clue what’s in this book to review it because I’m zoning and daydreaming every time I start it. Very difficult to follow along.

Honestly, not for me at all
The book was heavy in cellular and wireless technology over anything else, but lots of focus on simple things like secure passwords and where to find how to change your router info. I didn't like that on more than one occasion Wikipedia was cited as a source, when easily the referenced work could have been used instead. I could go on the site and change the information used right now. Maybe for a novice, this information would be helpful, but I couldn't use most of it.
I couldn't get past the whistle in his voice, I am sure it is the fault of the audio where he wasn't recorded in way to prevent this, but it was literally painful to listen to.
