Summary
When the bones of a boy are found scattered in the Hollywood Hills, Harry Bosch is drawn into a case that brings up dark memories from his past. Unearthing hidden stories, he finds the child's identity and reconstructs his fractured life, determined that he won't be forgotten.

Another gripping read from Michael Connelly.
I love the way Bosch sticks to his instinct for the truth without compromise even if it makes him unpopular and uncomfortable by doing so.
People who like a real page turner will love this story.

was a good story, the narration was a bit flat amd some one definitely needed to take the publishers key board away lol

Bosch is always good; this isn’t his peak
More thoughtful, repeated metaphors growing in depth; but the plot is less gripping than some, with too many false summits along the way that don’t actually drive the plot, with an anti-climactic ending.

I'm getting a bit impatient.....
with Harry Bosch. This book is no less good than the others, very listenable. Good story, good reading, and one is sure the details are credible.
But I'm starting to find Bosch slightly annoying. All right, he's a man with a mission. But honestly, would he perform his mission any less effectively if he were a little less inconsiderate to his love interest and rude to his colleagues? Could he sometimes not consider the possibility that he might be mistaken? Might he not get better results if he got a bit of a life?
