About this listen
It's recent college graduate Zach Greenfeld's favorite time of the year and he's just received a temporary gig planning Lighthouse Bays Christmas parade. Not only does it speak to his penchant for organization, it also puts him face to face on a daily basis with his unrequited crush—Holland Stone. But his new job starts off in disaster when the most important float—Santa's sleigh—gets damaged.
Holland needs to win the Lighthouse Bay Christmas parade float competition in order to grow his new dollhouse-making business. The prize is an article in a major city newspaper, and nothing beats free advertising. Except, eager to help the adorable parade organizer, he volunteers to help fix Santa's sleigh, leaving no time to work on his own float, and putting his prize at risk.
Damaged floats, snowstorms, and a last-minute parade emergency force Zach and Holland closer than ever. All they need is a little bit of Christmas magic to help them realize they belong together.
*Christmas Lane is a sweet, May/December, small-town Christmas romance with an HEA!*

Sweet holiday romance
I loved everything about thi story.
Lighthouse Bay is a wonderful place with perhaps nosy neighbors but they're a family and have your back no matter what.
Sweet Zach just wants to belong, to have someone care for him because he's a great guy who always helps others and he deserves the best.
Holland fought his attraction for a little bit but Zach broke through his defenses.
There's some miscommunications that I really didn't enjoy but they worked through their issues.
I loved how caring Holland was of Zach and how he continually showed him he deserved every happiness in the world, especially love.
The narrator did an amazing job bringing these characters to life.

A Sweet Christmas Story
It's hard to believe that it's been over five years since I read this book with my eyes but that gap in time allowed me to experience it all over again almost like a brand-new story. Aaron Hokanson did a nice job narrating this story.
All Zach wants is to be wanted by someone for himself and not to be used for just a one-night stand. Holland is very attracted to Zach but he's 15 years older and just doesn't see how a man so much younger could be interested in him.
Christmas Lane is a great story with the very best of the Christmas spirit woven throughout it. Neighbors helping neighbors, a Christmas parade, a Christmas festival and two people falling in love. I loved both Zach and Holland. They each have insecurities that affect how they interact with each other and they must overcome them so they can have the relationship they both deserve.
I hope the other books in this series become available as audiobooks.

Lighthearted age gap story
Story: A cute Christmas filled age gap romance with two likable MCs and plenty of colorful secondary personas. The story oozes Christmas, but I liked that the author chose men who are not black and white. Both Zach and Holland had their share of past experiences coloring their personality and impacting their outlook on life. It made for an interesting read with varied perspectives. The angst is very limited and I'd probably call it more distress, than angst, but the story is well paced and a fun read overall.
Narration: Very good performance. It was easy to follow the plot and I had no trouble discerning the characters. Good job!

Loved this sweet, age-gap Christmas story!
There’s a 15-years-old gap between Holland and Zach, where Zach, despite being so much younger, is clearly the more mature and settled one. They are so cute together, with their shy smiles and sweet gestures and the small town setting is described perfectly, with both the awesome and awful traits. People rallying together in time of need, but also gossip spreading uncontrollably like wildfire!
I loved this bit Christmas in June!
