Great for basics and pronunciation
In just ten lessons I've gone from knowing no Cantonese at all to being able to say and understand a variety of basic phrases. My British-born Hongkongese boyfriend can understand every phrase I occasionally crack out and says I have the best accent he's ever heard on a non-Chinese. That's entirely thanks to the listen and repeat methodology of Pimsleur - important in any language but even more so in a tonal language.
Onto the next level!
