About this listen
Trace Mitchem is the foreman at Bridleton and a confirmed bachelor whose main goal in life is to build a ranch he can call his own. Cheyenne Bartell is the youngest heir to the Texas ranching dynasty. What she lacks in self-confidence, she makes up for in spirit and determination. Trace and Chey have known each other for years and worked side by side to save Bridleton. He's prefers to keep a safe distance between them. She wants to explore the smoldering attraction they share.
It's a standoff until an unexpected accident changes everything. Suddenly, Chey is the wary one, and Trace is demanding so much more. Until something happens that changes everything again....

Enjoyably story. Love the plot.
This story is well written and has a wonderful cast of characters, the main characters Trace and Chey, worked through a good range of struggles: self doubt, addition, memory lost, sadness and fear, as they navigate their way to finding love and accepting each other without limitations.
Trace and Chey has been denying their attraction for each for one reason or another, that is, until Trace suffered memory lost. Trace's memory lost resulted in a positive change and a chance for him and Chey explore their feelings. Was it smooth sailing to happiness? No, but with the struggles to the their HEA there journey was also intoxicating, quite steamy.
Love the narration, It was an enjoyable listen! Thanks for the free copy.

This is a good book; . Trace Mitchem the foreman &. Cheyenne (Chey) Bartell is the youngest heir to the Texas ranching dynasty, she lacks confidence but makes up for it in determination and strong will. Chey and Trace have known each other for years .They have both been fighting the attraction they feel for each other until he is in an accident. They are forced to deal with their feelings for each other.
The narrator Johnny Peppers did a good job with this book, and was very easy to listen to. With different voices of each character in this book. It was very easy to listen to enjoyable.

Loved the story from start to finish.
Loved the story from start to finish. The narrator's accent really helped to set the scene. I am now interested in hearing stories about the other characters from the book. Recommended.

An uplifting modern western romance
Becky Barker has created a story jam packed with interesting characters, amnesia, alcoholism, family dynamics and feel good romance, all set on a ranch with potential in Texas. The characters are flawed with personal issues, which makes them feel real. I enjoyed the story and I especially enjoyed the satisfaction of a HEA. Johnny Peppers's narration has kept true to the setting and added depth to the story telling.
