About this listen
It started with threatening phone calls. Then someone tampered with Tamara Bennington's brakes. When she barely escaped an attempt to run her down with a car, it left no doubt somebody wanted her dead.
How far should a man go to repay a personal debt? Is abducting an heiress too far? Rane Masters believed Tamara's safety was worth any risk. She might never forgive him. She might even charge him with kidnapping, but she'd be alive and kicking when she did it.
The only thing the Renegade Texan couldn't predict was falling in love with his beautiful captive.

Fantastic story.
Tamara's life was in danger. Rane owes a favour to her uncle so with his go ahead he decided to kidnap her to keep her safe.
The storyline is realistic with likable engaging characters. This book has love, danger, suspense, actions with a bit of hot sexy scenes.
I loved the family element of the story, it gives more depth and interest. It is nicely narrated too. An enjoyable listen.

A love story with hunky Texans.
I enjoyed listening to this while I cleaned out my closet, a great distraction. Tamara, a strong influential business woman, is being threatened by someone unknown to her. As she is unwilling to employ any protection she is abducted by a family friend in order to save her from herself. As one would naturally expect, she is annoyed and frustrated but seems to settle down until she realises she is being taken to a mountain home. This raises issues from her past that takes some time to unfold. I felt this part of the story a little incongruous with the strong character being portrayed but agree hidden neurosis could perhaps result in this. From here the relationship unfolds and, basically, read on to the end.... I did like the story and was glad I listened to it. It is a love story with hunky Texans.
