I loved reading through the cherub series when I was a teenager and it's a series that I return to even now, listening to them in audiobook has added a really fun layer to the characters and I think this particular book in the series stands out as one of my favourites.

This book is the 4th one in the series out of 17 and they are getting better and better each time a read another one.

This one is the second best so far the first best is the original. ;)

As I said in the heading, book takes a while to get going but I didn't mind. Another great performance by Mr Muchamore.

I always like the round off to the end of each book, with an epilogue. It sets a somewhat good tone when going onto the next book. As you (the reader) gets some closure.

So far I'd say this book showed the best planning and execution to a mission that James and co had been sent on. Hopefully many more to come!

The narrator is amazing and I love the way the different voices are performed- really helps you get caught up In the story. The plot itself is very entertaining as well.

Overall this book was not as good as the many others but the storyteller and plot did pull through in the end

Not only did the voice actor play the role of each character with such grace, the story itself self was exciting and thrilling
