About this listen
There's the witches: young Agnes who is really in two minds about everything, Magrat, who is trying to combine witchcraft and nappies, Nanny Ogg who is far too knowing...and Granny Weatherwax, who is big trouble.
And the vampires are intelligent - not easily got rid of with a garlic enema or going to the window, grasping the curtains and saying, "I don't know about you, but isn't it a bit stuffy in here?" They've got style and fancy waistcoats. They're out of the casket and want a bite of the future. Mightily Oats knows he has a prayer, but he wishes he had an axe.

Immense fun
The humour behind each character makes you appreciate the skill involved in the creation of the Discworld. Sir Terry was (and thanks to his work) and always will be a great writer.

Excellent book, brilliant performance, poor editing
Terry Pratchett and Tony Robinson go together wonderfully and I cannot say how much I enjoy hearing this book. The person editing them however has chopped the end off certain sections of the book by not editing it properly. It’s jarring and quite annoying.

Another Tezzer and Robinson classic
Only thing that lets this down is the pronunciation of HodgesARGH and the Nac Mac Feegle. The whole joke with HodgeSARGH is he's trying to say a name like Hodgson but the birds bite him so it should be pronounced Hodge then a screaming ARGH. TR does a weird in-between and pronounces it Hodges then says ahh in a normal voice. Drives me mad.
The Nac Mac Feegle sound like just noise but you can tell what they're saying when reading it so that shouldn't be lost in the reading

yet another great by terry pratchett.
greatness comes with ease for the writtings of pretchett. with the plumpness of his descriptive story telling and juicy charactor breakdowns, pratchett builds a wonderfull story from begining to end. 5 stars all the way

Excellent
As always a brilliant spin on a classic premises. I love the idea of 'modern' vampires. Witches are special.

Didn't Finish.
I'm sure this is a brilliant book in print, but sadly I had significant problems with Tony Robinson's Nanny Ogg voice.
I wouldn't ever consider Tony hammy at all normally, but felt his narration of one of the main characters (and several of the witches) so overacted that I didn't finish.

I won't choose Tony again
I really disliked this audiobook and found it difficult to listen to. Tonys voices made the witches sound simple and whiny. I agreed with the accent, as the Norfolk Suffolk twang is very lancre but the witches shouldn't sound pathetic like they do here. especially not granny.
it was painful to listen to the wee free men too and overall his tone and speed of the book was unpleasant such a shame but I'll be going back to briggs from now on
