A compelling and engrossing novel
An engrossing and masterful work of fiction and a critique of contemporary Britain, the establishment that underpins it, and inequalities that haunt the modern world.
I was throughly engaged from the start by the host of convincing and compelling characters and the rollercoaster ride Andrew O’Hagan takes us on, through inter-connected worlds of politics, business, academia, and organised crime. Caledonian Road- at times hilarious, shocking, and also very sad- is brought to life by the stunning performance of narrator, Michael Abubakar. Highly recommended.

The narrator he gave all the characters meaning
This was such a different book for me and I really enjoyed it and would recommend to all .The storyline was so varied and unexpected and very interesting and mixed up with events that have actually happened .Thank you Andrew O’Hagan.

Would be a good 6 part TV series !?!
Being set in the recent past makes it seem to be a docudrama that covers a number of subjects that get tide together in a Tom Wolfe manner staged well in London.

Like the bastard child of Tom Wolfe and Martin Amis with a few genes from Will Sharpe
An enjoyable read but a fairly derivative if amusing plot about Russian money and the corrupt British elite. Is William Byers meant to be Philip Green and Lord Scullion Peter Mandelson or Alistair Campbell? All these New Labour figures are quick to disseminate propaganda on behalf of authoritarian governments like Singapore’s. Disliked the way hackers are held up as social justice warriors. O’Hagen is clearly a dandy in the style of Tom Wolfe and drops a lot of designer names

Such a sweeping, involving, page-turning masterpiece of writing. Extremely well narrated. Highly recommended. The 22 hours fly by.

A masterpiece.
I have just finished listening. What a novel. Dense, detailed and utterly captivating. Coupled with the best narration I have ever heard. Wonderful.
