Another brilliant adventure for Charlie

A tautly plotted and technically involving adventure for our Charlie in the modern Russia of crooks and dangerous gang warfare. Complicated and exciting in equal measure.

Great ending

I think this is the last in what is a very good series, all of which I really enjoyed, it is in my opinion the best of the series and a fitting end, but with an opening to continue Charlie's adventures

No James or Jason needed

Loved the whole series, Charlie Muffin is a legend. This character grew on me more and more. The narrator was first class and he brought every character alive for me. Thank you.

Decent Thriller

Good spy thriller with its fair number of twists and unexpected, to me anyway, one at the end. I have enjoyed the whole serious and it helped me with decorating the house. Narrator's characterisations were sometimes a bit challenging. One pet peeve was his pronunciation of Charlie's favourite whisky as Izlay. Now there might be an Izlay whisky but I have yet to taste it. I Have tasted many Islay( pronounced eyela) but never the one favoured by Charlie.

Supet

Another excellent story. I felt the identification of one of the corupt people at tbe end could have been hinted at more through the story or maybe i missed the hints.

Typical Charlie Muffin

Within this genre these tales are meaty, exciting, un-put-downable, escapism. Excellent. I just love them

Good end to a good series

This is one of the best in the Charlie Muffin audiobook series and thus a good way to end it, though listeners would wish for the remaining five novels to also be recorded.

If possible by Napoleon Ryan, who is excellent in the entire series.

Not Muffins best.

A tale of long known about corruption in Russia's hierarchy and one westerner bringing it down ??????????? not quite believable, even though it is Charlie Muffin.

Charlie muffin getting better.

After the last couple of books this is a return to form. Not that believable but these stories are a bit of fun.
