this is not my usual type of detective story that I tend to go for (gritty, gory, Scottish and sweary) but I was transfixed by bothe narration and the style of writing... looking forward to listening to the next one.

What a treat to discover a new author with a very new and different story. The narration was very good too.
I will certainly be checking out more books by A K.Turner.

I wasn’t expecting anything from this - I didn’t know the author or narrator - but I was gripped from the start. Brilliantly executed, believable and interesting plot with a sneaky flavour of the another dimension. Loved it.

This was a new author for me but one I am certainly going to look for again, I hope there will be more cases for Cassie and Flyte..
As quickly as I can....the storyline is gripping and very well thought out. Just when you think you have it solved...you don't!!
I really enjoyed the characters and the narration was superb, it really brought them to life. The timing, pace and intonation could not be faulted.
All in all this has been one of the best books I've had this year.
