Summary

Happily ever after. That was what we were supposed to have. Pudding cups, sandy toes, and a lifetime of making each and every one of our dreams come true - that is the future I'd promised her. I could see it in my dreams, hold it in my hands, but then I watched as all of our hopes and wishes suddenly slipped through my fingers like sand.

I thought the worst was behind us, but what if we'd just delayed the inevitable? They say love can overcome any obstacle. But can it survive death? The breathtaking love story of Lailah and Jude concludes in Beyond These Walls.

Due to some graphic language and explicit scenes, this audiobook is not recommended for listeners under the age of 18.

So good

loved this story, really emotional in places, but so good, tissue may be needed. narrators were ok but I liked the story more. the chemistry between Jude and Layla was so good, definitely soul mates. would definitely recommend this story.

another fab narration

these two make it easy to follow exactly who's character is speaking with the changes in their pitch and tone in their voices, which makes the story even more enjoyable.
I loved the continued story from the first book and seeing them get their HEA.

I loved the ending to their story. It was a bit rocky and took them too long to get it together but once they did, their love was truly beautiful. This story takes a bit of a turn I wasn't sure if it was going to but it works out perfect. Very sweet and emotional!

The narration was good, it fit the story well.

What a good sequel

I loved this one as much as the last one. In this one you got to see them grow and become awesome people. And it’s all tied up in a nice bow at the end which I sometimes really love. Looking forward to reading the third book about the brother now . Also great narrators too! That really makes a big difference.

I didnt think the h could make me feel disgusted

Wow, Lailah has flipped that switch for me. I didnt think she could make me so disgusted that I would hate her, but wow the author made it so. Lailah makes decisions that dont just affect her and she just runs away from her situation. Poor Jude. There isnt any excuse for her actions. I'm sure all the #^$%&< women out there would disagree with me. I just cant wrap my head around women like this.

The story was going great but of course the drama has to set in. Honestly nothing can save this story for me. Once I hate a h I never really like them again. I know these authors think they're writing women worth emulating but all it does is make me feel for the H that they get stuck with less than they deserve. If you love someone you stay, you talk it out, you LISTEN, talk with professionals if you need to. This is where the immaturity of Lailah comes into play. She doesnt really know how to be an adult because she doesnt know how to be normal since she isnt normal. She missed out on all the social clues that she would have gained by not being so sheltered. I realize it's not her fault initially, but at some point it is. What was the point in the classes she took before she got married? I mean dang its only been a month and shes already walked out. And when everything works out because yeah we already know it will, but Jude needs to see a lawyer and make provisions for when she pulls this crap again. Shes already proved shes a runner, she has already set a precedent in their marriage for how she deals with these situations. If she wants to leave, byyyyyee but you go alone. He should make sure of that.

I'm halfway through this and I'll finish it because I listen while I work but I wont be buying this. The narrators did a good job but now Lailahs voice will do nothing but grate on my nerves.

Not good

Once again she was to much. Because he isn't absolutely thrilled she could die she just leaves. She had a chance to process but she couldn't give him that. When she left after one conversation it was hard to like her again. She absolutely had the right to decide but the real world isn't that simple.

Awesome storyline

Absolutely loved this series!
Holy cow, tears, laughter & every range of emotion in between.
So good!
I wished they would have used a different male voice, I found his grating on me a bit. But, because the story was so good I kept listening, glad I did!

Awesome

This sequel to Behind These Walls continues the story of the couple who had been through a heart transplant and all the things that led up to it. As the story begins in this audiobook, they marry and have a wonderful honeymoon. But sometimes the unexpected has a way of changing everyone's lives and they must come to a decision- whether or not some things are worth risking everything for. Great narration and love the ending!

😘💯💞 Never Give Up.....

Very touching, this is the type of love we all dream to experience. I didn't want the book to end 18 years later, maybe the next book has Meras stories.

A wonderful trilogy

With Behind Closed Doors and Within These Walls this is a delightful and heartwarming saga. It gave me a glimpse of the experience of what it is like to struggle with a frail heart from birth and hope for a ❤️ heart transplant.
