Summary
Brothers in arms...
At long last, the Clans’ campaign for the Inner Sphere is about to come to a head. Alaric Wolf is preparing for his biggest moves yet...and is willing to enlist just about any force that can help him achieve his ultimate goal - the conquest of Terra.
To do this, he sends one of his own on a very special mission. Marotta Kerensky is a Wolf warrior unlike any other - the perfect candidate for a mission unlike any other: Convince the legendary Wolf’s Dragoons to rejoin the Clan they originally came from.
But when Marotta reaches the mercenary unit, he finds the unit quite different from the storied force of more than a century ago. The times have vastly changed since then, and the Dragoons have as well...or have they? Driven to accomplish his mission at any cost, Marotta allies with a Dragoons officer on a risky gambit that may help him deliver what his Khan wants...or tear Wolf’s Dragoons apart forever.

Great book, waiting for more
Another great novel, a little short, but enjoyable and well read by the narrator. Good blend of politics, action, and big robots. A little light on character development.
Need more like the Gray Death trilogy!

Great book to fill the gaps.
We have waited a long time for the story of the IlClan. This is a great quick reader about how the wolves set themselves up to win Terra. Decent action, good mix of mechs and tactics. A great story.
Pardoe has always done a great job bringing the universe to life.

Great story and narration.
Loved it. I was a bit hesitant due to short length, but the story was worth it. I would love an unabridged Blood of Kerensky trilogy read by Tren Sparks. Keep the books coming. Looking forward to growing my Battletech Library.

Wolf's Dragoons return to Clan Wolf
Great Battletech story of Wolf's Dragoons return to Clan Wolf. Well read with surprisingly accurate Japanese pronunciation, it definitely ranks two thumbs up! Highly recommended for BT fans young and old alike.

Great narration, great story
This is from what I can tell a stand alone story. If there is more coming down the road or other book’s following these characters I will be overjoyed!
The narration is solid! Not something I can say for most battletech books, Trent Sparks almost always delivers a solid performance though.
The story is short but good! Good character development, it’s short but it leaves you wanting more and I think that’s the downside of this book, I really want more content following these characters.

excellent narration from Tren Sparks, but...
the writing was pretty bad. party A wants party B to do something. party B doesn't want to do it and needs convincing. party A explained to party B why they should do it, and some people come aboard but others don't. Then members of party B have to explain to each other why they should do this thing, and it's the exact same reasons they heard before, and we have to sit through it every time.
you don't need to explain the entire story to every character every single time! paraphrase, Blaine!
BLP writes some good books. this wasn't one of them. it feels like he was just trying to hit a word count.

Short, but a good listen
A good short story in the Battletech universe. As always, Blaine Lee Pardoe does Battletech a service with his story telling. Tren sparks is on point and is a solid narrator for this universe. Look forward to more form both Sparks and Pardoe in this setting.

Unity!
A moraly complex roller coaster that tests the honor and integrity of every character to their breaking point. The Unity of the Dragoons is put to the test as we learn about this generation of Dragoon warriors and their ties to each other.

Expected much better for a Dragoon's story
Narrator was amazing as usual for Sparks. Story was poorly conceived. Dialogue was terrible. The only redeeming value was the mech battles but the setting and circumstances of the plot ruined even that.
