Liam!

Bad Boys For Hire by Rachelle Ayala featuring Liam is awesome. Ireland is such a fun location for a book in this series. The premise for this book was original, and the story was very captivating. I loved the reality tv show angle for link to the characters meeting. The narration was perfect. Tor Thom is incredibly talented with his various and distinguished voices for the characters. His Irish accent was terrific. Charley Ongel is fantastic putting in so many raw emotions. Together the narrators have incredible chemistry one can feel. The character of Rats was a fun addition to this listen too. Rachelle Ayala once again pulled me into a book. The twist in the story was a fun change. I really enjoy it when a book is not totally predictable.

When in need, call Bad Boys for Hire!

Bad Boys for Hire, can they help out Marissa? She is off to Ireland to film a reality TV show, figuring this is her chance at changing her luck and having a vacation. She reaches out for help to ensure her win by hiring a bad boy. Liam, an aspiring actor hears the money you can make on a reality TV show and wiggles his way into a job, hoping to be noticed for his acting ability. Little does he know what he has gotten himself into! Mia, the show's manager, is the previous loser of the show and is willing to do just about anything to make sure Marissa loses, even if it inhibits Marissa's safety. Rachelle Ayala again has written a warm love story, with real life problems to be solved as well as little suspense to keep us all engaged in the outcome! Marissa is definitely one that need some confidence boosting, her self esteem is low, and Liam is just the man to see her for who she is, and show Marissa her own self worth. These two together show how life's unexpected turns may bring you to your lucky pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. With some Irish folklore mixed into this fun listen, you are sure to fall for this bad boy!

Of course the setting being in Ireland, a good Irish brogue is needed for Liam, and Tor Thom brings it! His baritone voice, with the Irish lilt is warm and inviting, so it's easy to fall for Liam. Charley Ongel gives voice to Mia with the perfect evil tone, you can feel her need to wreak havoc on Marissa. She gives Marissa just enough uncertainty in the beginning and really shows her growth in confidence as the story progresses. Love this team, they are wonderful!

Quirky contemporary romance set in Ireland

Rachelle Ayala's Bad Boys for Hire series is a bit of a misnomer. In fact the boys are more sweet than bad, but no less masculine.

To be honest, Liam's story is not my favourite book in the series though it is thoroughly enjoyable. Some of the previous stories had a surprising depth that is missing in this book. However, this story is lighter and quite adventurous.

Marisa Monroe is a contestant for the America's Unluckiest reality show and she certainly manages to find herself plenty of trouble. To be fair, she doesn't actually invite trouble so much as finds herself set up for the sake of show ratings. Luckily Liam counterbalanced her bad luck with Ireland's finest good luck. He has her back as they wander through the Irish countryside towards their HEA.

This is a fun story. Despite being a little less complex than previous books in the series, it still reflects Rachelle Ayala's penchant for stories that highlight the value of self-reflection and growth.

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.
