About this listen

If Erin Banks has a moral code, you’d need an Enigma machine to crack it.

So it’s no surprise when she signs a contract with the city’s most powerful crime syndicate, the Galoffi family; an incestuous brother and sister who run their operation as man and wife.

The crown prince of the Galoffi family has been kidnapped, and Erin is tasked with getting him back. The only problem: the list of potential suspects is longer than a polar night, and body parts are already showing up in the mail.

Someone snatched the heir to the Galoffi fortune, and whoever they are, whatever they are, they’re not asking for ransom money. So why did they do it, and what do they want in return?

There’s something else bothering Erin too, and it’s the reason she took the job in the first place. The eye-witness description of the kidnapper is a match for the mysterious Red-Eyed Man who stole away her baby brother.

Is this it? Is Erin finally about to find out what happened to her missing brother, and if she does, will she be able to live with the truth?

Magic, scares, and acid-tongued snark collide in this thrilling urban fantasy series set in the Uncanny Kingdom. Buried secrets and whiplash twists will keep you riding the edge of your seat. Listen to Bad Blood now for a pulse-pounding tale you won’t be able to hit pause on.

“I almost made a paint job of my panties”

Fantastic from start to finish! The uncanny Kingdom doesn’t have a bad book in the collection, they’re all amazing!
Hooked from start to finish. So we’ll written with great characters and story and plenty of fight scenes throughout too!
Really well narrated and perfectly suited to the characters and story with great atmosphere and pacing! Really pulls off the sarcasm!
This is my honest opinion on a free review copy.
