Summary
At a singles auction where no one was bidding on love, a warmhearted ER nurse finds herself dating a prickly doctor in this enemies-to-lovers lesbian romance.
Ellie Fisher loves most things about being a nurse in the emergency department . . . just not working with Regina Novak, an icy attending physician who acts as if she's God's gift to medicine.
The dislike is completely mutual. Regina thinks Ellie is a starry-eyed romantic with a sentimental attitude that has no place at work.
When Regina gets talked into volunteering at a singles auction, Ellie accidentally bids on her—and ends up winning. Oops!
Since the money raised is for a good cause, they reluctantly decide to go through with the dates.

Jay has surpassed her self with this book
I always feel with Jay that I am in safe hands. This book was lovely, one of her best, and well read

Another great book.
Jae is great, I love her books. I have to say I also love Lori Prince so when they're together you know it's gold. I think the performance were excellent, the story itself is great and I really liked the chemistry between Ellie and Regina.

Wonderful slow burn
I do enjoy Jae’s romance novels as they’re always so tender and the characters were easy to identify with at different points. I also like the cameo roles of some of the stars of previous novels so many of her books have.

Very sweet
This was a really sweet story. Even grumpy DR was cute.
I understand everyone wanting to eat twinkies now. lol.

Superb listen
First book from this author I’ve listened to and I was hooked in straight away. Great storyline, likeable characters, plenty of spice and I was invested and rooting for them from a few minutes in.
