Summary
How prepared are you to guide your baby through the first and most important year of his life?
There’s nothing quite like a baby’s first months of life, as they are arguably the ones that will have the most impact throughout their entire development.
First-time parents and veterans agree that the first year can be one of the most challenging stages to face.
Here's some of what you can expect to learn inside the pages of this book:
- How to properly feed your baby for optimal development and health throughout the first year
- Discover how to avoid having endless sleepless nights by sleep-training your child
- Learn how to avoid common mistakes that parents make that can end up harming their baby's development in the long-term
- How to properly deal with separation anxiety and make it much easier on your child, and you
- The biggest challenges parents face in the first year and how to easily overcome them
Would you like to enjoy going through every stage of your child's development without worrying if you're doing the right thing or not?
The earlier you manage to give proper guidance and care, the easier it is for babies to grow into healthy children. However, there is no such thing as being too late, and even tricky behaviors and habits can be helped.
Increase confidence in your parenting abilities. Start by taking care of your baby the proper way from the moment he arrives home for the first time!

Awesome explanation
I bought this book for my husband after we found out I was pregnant with our first child. My husband is someone who always listen the directions and manuals when we get new ideas. This book was a perfect guide for him and provides a great explanation of the basics of baby. A few of the recommendations have changed since the book was published so a few things are not in practice anymore but overall it was a great listen. He listened the entire book in about a week and told me he will be referring back to it when our new baby arrives. Definitely get this book, you won't regret it! And the way its explanation had us both laughing..(which you need when you are feeling overwhelmed with having a baby)

Useful and very informative!
I bought this book based on a recommendation from a mommy friend, and I'm so glad we did! It covers EVERYTHING - how to swaddle, diapers, circumcision care, first aid, feeding, sleeping, etc. It's not overly wordy - it gives you the information and moves on. Listen like a car manual, which husband loves. Buy this, it's so useful and also very informative!

Fantastic book!
I love the way this is explained, it's informative without being in your face. It's more like story telling than instructional. A lot of the philosophy is do what works for you and read the signs from your baby. I also like that there is medical research to back their claims as well as home testimony. I recommend this book to ANY new parent so that they can realize that babies aren't a dog you are supposed to train, but a human being who has their own quirks, their own schedules, and their own way of doing things. Fantastic book!

Informative and helpful
Awesome audiobook, and it's sequel was equally as informative and helpful as the first. Easy to listen, not boring, not judgemental, and 100% informative, this is a MUST listen for any new parent (or even parents that are going for the 2nd or 3rd time). There was not one question about my daughter's first year that couldn't be answered in this book. Definitely recommend.

Helpful information
I bought this for my daughter who is expecting her first child. I had listened the What to Expect When you are Expecting 30 years ago and what surprised to see it is still a top hit with today's generation. It seemed a natural fit to follow-up with this book. It even has helpful information on what you need and should put on your baby shower registry! Would highly recommend to anyone expecting a baby whether it's your first or your second or third. Very informative and a must have listened to help maneuver through that first year.

Found it informative
If you listen this book, you have to take it with a light heart. The author wanted to be informative to the general population with an attempt to make things funny and keep listeners interested. Personally, I found it informative and interesting and learned a few things. HOWEVER, if you listen this book with the intent of wanting information straight and to the point, this book is for you.

Awesome!
This book is very informative and doesn’t take a stance on how you should raise your child which I found to be nice. It’s perfect for learning the basics and has a lot of answers to questions New parents might have for discovering different solution of problems.

Learned a lot!
Strongly recommend for lazy/busy people. I am glad that I learned about the concept of attached parenting and importance of breastfeeding. I think I will listen to the newborn part again just to recap before my baby arrives.
