So much good stuff in this book!

I learned a lot from listening to this book. While I'd heard of neuroplasticity, I'd never put 2 and 2 together to realize that you could rewire your brain from thinking negatively to thinking positively. (It has me rethinking my aversion to affirmations now lol.) And while I'd heard of Ho'oponopono before, I never really used it that much. The additional line the author has added to it just put the icing on the cake for me. It really elevated the energy of it. (If you don't know what Ho'oponopono is, then you'd better buy this book I guess!). This book provides techniques for reducing anxiety that actually work and I will be listening to this book more than once. You should too!

Absolutely love this audiobook


I love this audiobook, because it takes an action approach to taking charge of our anxiety. However, it does remind us that we are human and we are not perfect. My favorite line in this AB is “ We are vulnerable and vulnerability isn’t a weakness but a strength”. The author teaches/reminds us we can rewire our brains with mindfulness and stop negative thought by replaces it with a positive one. This is important because it reminds us that we need to be kind to ourselves and with the technique in this book (Not saying what it is i do not want to give away anything) it works and made a lot of sense. If you have anxiety like I do this audiobook is for you.

Great Listen!

In particular, I found the exploration of the myths and truths about anxiety interesting and useful to better understand the root cause of anxiety. It goes on to walk the reader through a step-by-step method to ease anxiety and finally offers encouragement to disempower the instinct to resist change.

Very empowering

I’ll be honest, at first I picked this audiobook for my mother in law who suffers from extreme anxiety. But I immediately related when Hall’s started to describe anxiety.

I particularly enjoyed her perspective on it, how it is something you live with but you can still be happy. I also loved when she said that healing can be a joyous process and something to look forward too. It really changed my mindset on anxiety and mental health in general.

It’s an easy read which makes it easy to engage with and you can get a lot out of it quickly. Great practical advice too!

Definitely a good place to start if you’re struggling with anxiety. Or even if you don’t!

Helped Me Find Peace

I just finished listening to "Anxious? Try This...." and I have to say, it's one of the best audiobooks I've ever listened to. The author, Sherri Hall, has a profound understanding of anxiety and provides a simple, proven method to ease it. Her therapeutic insight and empathy shine through in every word.

The audiobook is filled with practical exercises that are easy to follow and can be used immediately. I found myself incorporating these exercises into my daily routine and noticed a significant decrease in my anxiety levels.

The narrator was also a pleasure to listen to. Her voice was soothing and calming, which made it easy to absorb the information and exercises.

Overall, I highly recommend "Anxious? Try This...." to anyone who struggles with anxiety. It's a life-changing audiobook that has helped me find peace and I know it can do the same for others.

My child got a lot from this book

My daughter suffers from anxiety. Each time I try to help she rightly tells me that I am not a professional and that she'll 'be fine'. So I thought advice coming from someone might help, and this book seems to have. She has started using the methods laid out in the book and says one in particular is working for her, so for that reason I'm giving this book 5 stars, because anything that helps my daughter deal with her issues is a good thing in my book.

Helps to change your preception of the world

It is true that we all encounter some degree of anxiety and stress in life. However, we aren't taught practical ways to deal with anxiety. The biggest lightbulb moment in the audiobook for me was the idea that, using the aid of philosophy, you can work to reshape the stories you tell yourself about life and the world around you. By doing so, you can start to reduce your level of anxiety. I found the audiobook to be engaging, and it certainly gave me food for thought.

Try this!

Living in today's fast-paced world, anxiety has become an increasingly common struggle for many individuals. The constant pressure to meet expectations and the overwhelming amount of information bombarding us can often leave us feeling anxious and overwhelmed. While I've been coping well, my husband hasn't. His anxiety's been becoming substantially worse and our life has become a kind of nightmare. Until I found this book that offers a refreshing approach to tackling anxiety. It helped us understand that limiting beliefs can exacerbate anxiety symptoms, as well as the importance of the frequency of energy our bodies emit - the book provides practical strategies to raise it.
The book not only provides insightful information but also offers a step-by-step method to ease anxiety immediately. I'm now positive that by following the steps we found in this book, my husband will overcome this crippling anxiety, and I recommend that partners and spouses listen to this book too.
