Summary
On a remote Scottish island, three couples are tying the knot—but even in paradise, nothing is pain-sailing....
Curl up and escape with Jenny Colgan
Olivia and Anthony are planning a very extravagant wedding at the newest hotel on the tiny Scottish island of Mure. They're flying in chefs, musicians and something called a living flower wall...and no one is even allowed to think the word bridezilla.
Flora is trying—and failing—not to let Olivia and Anthony's wedding distract her from planning her own big day with Joel. But the couple have wildly different ideas about how to celebrate and somehow, just when their relationship should be plain sailing, everything is suddenly very hard indeed.
And then there's Lorna and Saif. The local headmistress and the GP desperately keeping their relationship a secret to protect his sons. But while they're looking out for the boys, who's looking out for them?
Three couples. One midsummer's night. Can everyone get their happy ever after?

Brilliant!
Really loved this, and even if it is the final instalment, I think the ending was very fitting to the overall story. Loved the narration too.

Great story warm and funny in places.
Unsure on the narrator at first but as the story progressed I got used to her voice. I would not let this put you off as the story is lovely.

Narrator?
I loved this story the last one in the series. Except…didn’t like the hen night bit. I usually love Eilidh being a Scot but I think she got Flora’s voice wrong at times she sounded quite hysterical. I had a few tears at times very Jenny Colgan. Not sure what to listen to next. I hope she brings another Mure story out. I want to live there.

Just absolutely lovely
I have loved all the Mure books, and hope Jenny Colgan will write many more. It’s impossible not to get deeply involved with the very real characters of the island. Jenny combines humour and sadness and the often harsh realities of life with a little bit of fantasy to make these stories so delightful. I can’t wait to go back to Mure to hear how they are all getting on.
The narration is absolutely perfect.

The final Mure book
I have read all the books in the series and thought I would try an audio book for this one. I am so disappointed with how it was narrated. The tone of voice meant the characters were different to how they seemed in the books. The attempt of the Syrian accents were awful, more like the vampire voice they used to do in old films. Even sweet Agot seemed like a total brat. Perhaps I will stick to reading rather then listening.
