About this listen
Award-winning regency romance author on the rise
Griffith, Duke of Riverton, likes order, logic, and control, and he naturally applies this rational approach to his search for a bride. He's certain Miss Frederica St. Claire is the perfect wife for him, but while Frederica is strangely elusive, he can't seem to stop running into her stunningly beautiful cousin, Miss Isabella Breckenridge.
Isabella should be enjoying her society debut, but with her family in difficult circumstances, her uncle will only help them if she'll use her beauty to assist him in his political aims. Already uncomfortable with this agreement, the more she comes to know Griffith, the more she wishes to be free of her unfortunate obligation. Will Griffith and Isabella be able to set aside their pride and face their fears in time to find their own happily-ever-after?

Beautiful, Fun & Enthralling
This was such a great addition to the series. It read easily(maybe too easily since I finished it in three days), and I loved the narration. The plot was well thought out and the settings good. The character development was masterful and the characters and their relationships believable. Rich with History and Emotion. I would definitely recommend this book.
Thank you Audible, Chrity Ann Hunter and Ann Marie Gideon for this great read.

Interesting storyline
An enjoyable listen. Have no issue with references to God as this fits with the period. Read nicely though does need some training with certain pronunciation that jars the performance

NICE
A nice final book in this series, although not my favourite. Tbh, I got a bit fed up of the mention of Griffith's size. I don't think it needed drawing attention to all the time. I think my favourite character was Frederica, but Isabella was sweet but she found it hard to trust Griffiths. I was also really surprised that none of the siblings had any children during the time of this series. On the whole, I did enjoy this series, a bit lighthearted fun.
I've been binge listening to this series over the summer. Looking forward to reading Caroline's story in A Return to Hawthorne House

Can not recommend, no story
I just finished this book, I can not remember the name of the main characters and the story, was there a story? If there was a story I can assure you, it made no sense.
I suppose this is a "clean" romance. Unfortunately it is so clean that at least I failed to notice any attraction between the lovers.
There was also a lot of talk of doing god's will, which was annoying, since the story did not make any sense. It is all well and good to have characters with a faith, but that does not rescue the author from having a plot for the book.
The performance was ok I guess, but it was not so good that I would listen to a book just because I would like to hear the narrator once more. She had a problem with her as. For example she could not pronounce avoid. Maybe an American doing a British accent and failing?
