The worsening economic anxieties of many Americans reached a tipping point when the 2008 financial crisis and Barack Obama's election, as the first African American president, finally precipitated the worst political gridlock in generations. Americans were fed up and Trump rode a wave of discontent all the way to the White House.

Trump's Presidency Defined at it's Scholarly Best.

Out of all 30 or so books about Donald Trump that I have listened to since 2015 to this day and forward, (2024), this has to be the most defining and finest account of Trump and the GOP.
The best listens I buy in the Kindle version when engaging writing has such sage and quotable facts not tainted by partisan views.
Highly Recommended.
