About this listen

Here, even the wind screams. Abandoned hulks of machinery rust in the colorless landscape. Dark, oily seas beat against a jagged black shore. And the remnants of a reentry space vehicle crash into the rough waves. In it sleeps Ripley, a woman who has battled the enemy twice. It killed her whole crew the first time. The second time, it slaughtered a spaceload of death-dealing Marines.

Now on this prison planet that houses only a horde of defiant, captive men, she will have to fight the ultimate alien horror one more time.

The novelisation read in this audio book is spot on to the film. The suspense is still there. The horror also very evident. Although this audio is for adults I found it awesome as a quick listen compared to some audio books I think it was definately a worthwhile use of a credit. I didn't think they would fit the whole film into the 2hrs something but they did, and it sounds great !

Very Good

I'm giving this 5/5 just due to the voice of Lance Henriksen. The story is decent but I'm just using this as an sleeping aid and I'm a big fan of Mr. Henriksen.

I love that Lance Henriksen narrated Alien 3 but it felt like he read very fast and rushed through parts at times.
As I haven't been able to convince my husband to rewatch the movies recently I have enjoyed listening to all the audio books and love all the films and books that I've read/listened to so far. There is also the alternate Alien 3 screen play that was released last year or so and read by Michael Biehn if you were unhappy by how the film released Alien 3 and this audio played out.

Alien and Sci Fi fans should enjoy!

Lance Henriksen was perfect as the reader! I truly wish he had more titles in his repertoire! He made the story live, giving the reading depth and gravitas. Better than the film, and as Lance was the actor that played Bishop in the original films, it was almost as though we were reliving the story through the eyes of a witness! Excellent!

Excellent!

The book itself it good. Narrating could've been better. Not enough emotion and drama in his voice.

okay!
