Story
First published from 1872 to 1969, Morals and Dogma is one of the most insightful works ever prepared for Freemasonry. It is a collection of 32 essays which provide a rationale for the Scottish Rite degrees. It encompasses a study of Freemasonry, wise philosophy, ancient mysteries, mythology, ritual, and religion. It serves the useful purpose of putting Masonic morality and ethics within the context of the general society, and bids man to think large - to cast aside the petty concerns of everyday life and to improve ourselves.

While many books, both in Hebrew and English, have explored the theoretical Kabbalah, very little has been published regarding the meditative methods of the various schools of Kabbalah. Aryeh Kaplan's landmark work reveals the methodology of the ancient Kabbalists and stresses the meditative techniques that were essential to their discipline, including:

Along the way, he began drafting the manuscript of his legendary Red Book. Originally published 1888, the first part of the book explained the origin and evolution of the universe itself, in terms derived from the Hindu concept of cyclical development. Blavatsky attempted to demonstrate that the discoveries of "materialist" science had been anticipated in the writings of ancient sages, and that materialism would be proven wrong.

Great job on a great book!
This is a wonderful book if you are looking for the origins that went into making the blue degrees of masonry. It's also helpful for us masons who have a busy schedule and have very little time to read. The book is currently part of the Master Craftsman course in the Scottish Rite, so it's great to be able to use it for that as well. Adam Hanin does a great job narrating it as usual.
