Summary
Brought to you by Penguin.
Read by Marian Keyes and featuring an exclusive Q&A between Graham Norton and Marian Keyes.
Twenty-five years after the iconic one-and-a-half-million-copy best seller Rachel's Holiday burst into our lives, Rachel's back!
Back in the long ago '90s, Rachel Walsh was a mess.
But a spell in rehab transformed everything. Life became very good, very quickly. These days, Rachel has love, family, a great job as an addiction counsellor; she even gardens. Her only bad habit is a fondness for expensive trainers.
But with the sudden reappearance of a man she'd once loved, her life wobbles.
She'd thought she was settled. Fixed forever. Is she about to discover that no matter what our age everything can change?
Is it time to think again, Rachel?

Like coming home !
I was pure desperate for MK to write another Walsh family book . I always wondered whether the next instalment, might be a prequel of Mammy Walsh’s life but as my favourite sister (shush - don’t tell the others ) I am delighted that Rachel is back. I have been a fan since I first read Lucy Sullivan when it was released and my first fan letter was to MK - she even wrote back with a M&S thank you card (highlight of my 20’s) ! I am now 45 , marriages , divorce , loss and remarriage (not to mention a household of awful meanagers) - to escape into your stories has been a balm to a battered soul. I love all your books - they are like old friends and to have a new(old) pal is an amazing gift .
I love your narration and the story telling is just wonderful - Rachel and Lukes journey has me hooked . I am on Chapter 53 and have been hiding from my family all day , under the pretence of working with my AirPods firmly jammed in. I can’t wait to see what happens , I also couldn’t wait to review and let you know how your writing is perfection.
Please keep writing , keep being the voice of Walsh’s and the other wonderful characters you have brought to life for me .
This a poignant, beautifully human story and I utterly recommend it .
Muchio Gracias

Again, Rachel
I was so ready to go back in to the world of the Walshes after all this time and this did not disappoint. Everyone is older, wiser but true to the characters they were in all the other books. Thoroughly enjoyed this story. Having it read by Marian was great, because it really like she was telling me the story she had in her head personally.
The interview at the end with Graham was great... please revisit Anna too Marian, she is such a lovely person, that I would love to see her happy after her awful 1st book.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!
Beautiful story, an absolute delight to hear it read by Marian Keyes. Was better than I dared to imagine given my love for the first book, Rachel's Holiday. The Walsh sisters are back in full swing. Absolutely heartbreaking at points, a lot of traumas and emotional issues are explroed in the book, so be prepared and be gentle with yourself. The overriding theme for me though was hope and joy.

Should come with a trigger warning!
There is no warning whatsoever about the fact there is in-depth description of still birth! listening to this at 34 weeks pregnant was very upsetting and I would never have started this book had there been a warning.

Very disappointing
I put this on pre-order as I had a listen to Rachels holiday, which I found very funny laugh out loud funny. However Rachel again was ridiculous. I found it to be very weak story and certainly not anywhere near as funny as Rachels holiday. The whole story seemed to be based on the fact she couldn’t get over why Luke had left her six years previous. It was unbelievable and more importantly uninteresting and boring. I completely lost interest And couldn’t really care why her relationship with Luke Failed or if she’s even got back with him because I stopped listening yawn yawn.

Navel gazing
I feel out of sync with other reviewers. I have read several of Marian’s books and have enjoyed most of them but this one gave me much eye rolling exercise. I did not have empathy with Rachel‘s actions. Nor most of the addiction characters. My loss I am sure. In my impatience I looked at the number of chapters still to come and my heart sank. I am trudging along from chapter 46 hoping to get to chapter 65 without eye strain. Was her editor on holiday? I still want to love her but not with this book. Only my opinion and I don’t expect anyone to agree with me!

WTF! all the 5 star reviews - DNF for me
I really don't understand all the 5 star reviews as I found the book boring, the narration pretty awful all adding up to DNF.
I have listened to a few Marian Keys book and enjoyed them. Rachels Holiday, which I found very funny laugh out loud funny. However, Again Rachel was ridiculous. I found it to be very weak story and certainly not anywhere near as funny as Rachel's holiday.
I won't buy anymore of Marian's books if she is narrating them. Great writer but not so good with the narration.

Love, love, LOVE!!! this book 💕
Rachel’s holiday, the first book about Rachel Walsh, is my favorite book. So when I saw that Marian Keyes had written a sequel I knew I NEEDED to listen to the audiobook. I also though…”it must’ve been hard to write the sequel ‘cause the first book was soooo good. Will I be dissappointed?” But oh no!!! I love this story so much!! Marian Keyes is a genius when it comes to creating characters that you love and root for. I can not recommend this book enough! The books about Rachel Walsh should be a mandatory read in every household!

Thank you Marian Keyes! This was the book I needed. I was very nervous to read it as I adored the first one so much and have read it multiple times over the years but it didn’t disappoint. I laughed and cried throughout. It was such a joy to catch up with the Walshes. Please write more!
