About this listen

Adana is a small, brown, earth dragon. She longs to play with the other dragons, but none of them will accept her as a friend. One day a giant wanders into the land of the dragons and scares all the other dragons.

Can Adana save the day and prove that even a small brown earth dragon can do big things?

An elemental tale from the author of P.A.W.S. and Esmeralda Grunch and the Red Tulip.

Beautiful story - excellent narration

Story:
In this clever tale different species of dragons inhabit the four elements.
There are air dragons, who soar through the sky, water dragons, who can swim and dive deep under water, fire dragons, who love to play fireball all day and there is only one earth dragon, Adana.
Adana is small and brown and can't fly or swim or play with fire and the other dragons don't play with her, which leaves our wee dragon longing for friends and acceptance.

Then one day a giant appears in Dragonland. The dragons are no match for him. His skin is so thick, even fire causes no harm. The dragons are scared and hide in Adana's cave, but the little brown dragon has a plan, because there's one thing she can do better than anyone else. She can dig very deep holes and endless tunnels and she is a superfast digger indeed.
But will this be enough to fend off the intruder?

Narration:
Fiona Thraille's narration is clear and calm, but you also feel the earth shaking when the giant stomps his feet. Excellent.

Overall
A wonderful tale, where beauty, strength and arrogance are outwitted by brainpower and courage. A story about respecting diversity and also about accepting yourself just the way you are.
