Not Danielle Steel's best
Unlike other reviewers, I actually enjoyed the beginning of the novel with the lengthy character descriptions best. The action-packed climax was cliched and sort of boring. And the book dragged on for 2 additional hours after it should have ended.

Boring
There was absolutely no suspense here. Right from the beginning they tell you exactly what is going to happen. The most interesting part was in the middle, then you felt like an awkward house guest that’s overstayed your welcome in the last chapters. A lot of redundant and predictable storylines, too many characters, and a flat ending equals my recommendation to skip this one!

True Danielle Steele
Enjoyed it in the car on long trips. I liked the positive development of relationships. I liked the plot. There was quite a bit of restating the facts and what was said earlier, drags it out unnecessarily . I have enjoyed her books for many many years and find reading them comforting and enjoyable and now listening to them on Audible
