Summary

She gave me her innocence, and I gave her a baby. As a billionaire, I’m used to getting what I want. And that night, I wanted her.

It was only supposed to be a one-night stand. No names, no numbers, only searing passion and lust. I took her innocence, but I gave her something in return. My heart and my child. Now I have no way to find her.

Will I get my family, or is one night my forever?

Entertaining & Fun

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this book; it's very entertaining. I really liked the premises, a young woman accidentally getting pregnant by an older man. The main characters are charming, interesting, and have a great connection. The interactions between them is fun and enjoyable. The storyline is well-written and well-paced.

The narration by Rodney Falcon is superb. He does an outstanding job bringing the characters and the story to life. I've always enjoyed his performances. I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

It’s not an accident to like this one

This story will take you but surprise. It’s not like the other one night stand baby stories . Rodney wrote a story that will want you to see what will happen at the end . It starts out like the one baby by mistake stories but there are a few twists and turns .

Hero is Roman. Heroine is Bitsy.
Both Roman and Bitsy left home because of family issues. Roman with his fathers. Bitsy because of the homestead being to small . They both meet up for a one night stand then boom Bitsy still untouched at that point will become a mom . Roman can’t get Bitsy out of his mind , he goes looking for her . Will he find her , how will he welcome the idea about becoming a daddy .

Rodney Falcon performance was strong , his voice doing all the characters were great .

My Thoughts on Accidental Daddy

At times I felt like this was a book that I should have just given up on. But I like to be an optimist when it comes to my romance books, so I kept listening in hopes that this story would get better. After everything was said and done though, the only thing I truly could say was a positive for me with this book was the narrator. He was new to me, but I felt like he did a pretty good job with what he had to work with. I’d like to hear him on something else in future.
This story however has me uncertain if I ever want to try any other books by this author. I didn’t like the timeline flow for example. I felt like there was a big chunk of important time that was skipped over in this story. Time that could have possibly given me a better connection with the leading lady at least, even if the leading man wouldn’t have been around. And then it was made worse by the time spent telling scary stories later in the audio. I don’t listen to horror. Its just not my thing. Nothing against it as a genre, and more power to the people who like it. But it’s not for me. And I certainly didn’t expect to have to hear it thrown into my romance. Just because the venture the characters were trying to start up was Halloween/Horror related, didn’t mean we the listeners needed to have the stories told to us. Especially when it kind of ended up being irrelevant after everything was said and done.
And then there was the issue for me that the leading lady really wasn’t very likable. Maybe I didn’t get to know her well enough, but what I did know, I didn’t really care for. She seemed overly critical of the leading man when she didn’t even really give him a chance. She made a lot of assumptions about him and then when he came back in the picture she was really hard on him when I didn’t feel he did anything to deserve it. The leading man actually turned out to be much more relatable then she was even if I would have liked to see more effort made to spend time with his child instead of being so caught up in trying to win over the mother.
The final point that made this story so unenjoyable for me was how the couple went from fighting and completely disconnected to hooking up and ready to profess their love. I felt like 90% of this story (and it’s probably really more than that) was spent with them fighting or not getting along, and then 10% was spent hooking up or suddenly together. I didn’t feel like their actual relationship grew or was developed at all. It was like the author suddenly remembered in the end that this was supposed to be a romance and the couple needed to end up together so she threw an ending together really quick and expected no one to notice. But I did. And it all left a bad impression for me. For a book that had good promise from the blurb, it really didn’t live up to that promise at all.

could have more focus on the charactere

Disclaimer: I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

I really liked the setting for the story, it was very well written and feels like a real place that can be experienced and enjoyed and it's beautiful. I think the characters are cute together, not so much in what they say or do in each other's presence, but in the lack of. That seems to show their feelings towards each other much clearer than when they eventually came together. I feel like more focus could have been placed on developing the characters more, as well as the baby, and revealing more of their backstory because that seemed to play a part in their hesitancy in committing and trusting each other and in turn, is a big part of who the character is.

Halfway through, it felt like the story took a wrong turn and was focusing on something else instead, and hence neglected the main story and the characters. I wouldn't have mind more time focused on the raising of the child, or the interaction between the characters with the child, to put forth this 'accidental daddy' thing a little stronger.

Narration by Rodney Falcon is wonderfully done for this book, the emotions of the characters are well brought forth and the pacing is right.

Really good.

Chemistry through the roof and an accidental baby thrown into the story and an older man and younger woman makes this well worth listening to. Then as an absolute bonus Rodney Falcon is narrating leaving this as a great listen.

Accidental Daddy

Bitsy was a young naive girl that got pregnant by an older man. It was one night no names. Only Roman could not forget her. So he went looking and found her. Only he found more than her. He found her and their baby. You can defiantly see how immature Bitsy is by how she behaves in most of the book. I love how her grandfather finally came around and got involved in the end. I really enjoyed Rodney's narration.

frustrating

This book had too much back and forth in it. It was all over the place for me. I found it hard to connect to the main characters. There were lots of unanswered questions which was frustrating. What happened with the ex-boyfriend, Bitsy's mum and dad, and Roman's dad? The introduction of the horror stories was weird and it felt out of place.

Billionaire Meets Small Town Farming

Overall I enjoyed the story and the author does a good job of keeping things intruiging in the small town setting. Declan and Teagan are the most unlikely pairing but we get to see them grow closer throughout the story. The chemistry between them wasn't as fierce as one would have hoped, but I suppose this was more of a second chance slow burn type of story. I'm pleased that the author was able to work in some elements of mystery even on this small town farm.

I love this narrator! His voice is alluring and he plays the bad boy billionaire well. He gave another great performance in the narration of this book!

Love the Story

I love everything about this story, from the timeline and theme to the scenes. The plot is also excellent, and I would definitely recommend this book to others who love romances with drama and suspense thrown in.

Not what I expected

This story wasn’t I expected but it was a good listen. I really love the narrator. He has such a calm cool voice. I’ve listened to him before and he did not disappoint me. However, the author is new to me and the story wasn’t that bad. It’s a different take of a romance but good escape nevertheless. If you like a little suspense and some romance, this one is for you!

Narration made it!

Very cute story just simplistic. If you’re looking for a great thorough story, it’s not this one. If you want a quick, cute story this is for you! Narration was fantastic but always is with Rodney Falcon!

My favorite by this author!

This is a favorite book of mine by this author. There is so much that I enjoyed about this story and characters. I listened to this on audio and it was wonderful. I loved the Halloween theme that ran throughout. The two main characters were fun. They had some interesting moments together and apart. Roman definitely became a favorite as the story moved forward. When he brought flowers to the girls....my heart melted!

Mia is the best character! She is fun and sassy and takes no prisoners. Every scene she was in was stolen by her and those that weren’t she added so much to the scene. Bitsy’s Grandpa was a gruff old codger. But I loved him especially how he ended at the end. He made me smile!

This is my third book by this author. I enjoyed so many things about this. The movement of time was done well. My only issue was the two stories posted in the paper. I could have done without those. They didn’t add anything for the story to be told. Although that first one...it was pretty scary! Rodney Falcon narrated this and he did a wonderful job. I enjoy listening to his voice.
