🎧Audiobook Obsession🎧

Love this story. Strong female lead, fun story. Nicholas was a little soft for me, prefer a more alpha male. Rodney Falcon was very good at portraying Nicholas, his female voice however was uninflected and needs some work.

This story was hAAAWWWTTT

This single dad billionaire story was smoking hot! I’m pretty sure he is every girls fantasy! Narration was great too! I can’t wait to listen to more by RR BANKS

Didn’t connect with the heroine

Story:
The story concept was adorable but basic; I had a hard time connecting with the characters.

I appreciate how Brady matures throughout the series and combines his passion with his father’s company, finally developing into his own person. He is a good father, but I wish there was more bonding time with his son.

I couldn’t find Amanda likeable. Her first impression wasn’t favorable, and it didn’t improve as the story went on. She sounded condescending and rude. Even if a person is snobby, I didn’t appreciate how Amanda falsely insulted someone about their sex life. Then proceed to lie about insulting them. I’m all for a good comeback, but that jibe was uncalled for. Her fight with Brady was more inline, albeit still professionally inappropriate.

Amanda’s aspirations were also never fleshed out; more like after she got with Brady, she ceased to chase after them as they’re barely mentioned ever again. And even her life is pretty ambiguous too. There should have been a chapter to discuss more about Amanda’s life, her confiding in Brady and developing their trust.

The major conflict also resolved itself. Brady never had really “fight” for her like Mrs. Dahlia told him to do because Amanda did it on her own. If that was the case, I think there should have been a chapter where the readers followed Amanda reflecting, ruminating, and coming to a conclusion. That resolution should have been shown, not told. The ending felt very rushed, and not it a good way.

Narrator:
I’ve listened to Rodney Falcon before and he did fairly well to animate the characters in this book.

Cute story

This is a cute story. It’s an easy listen and good for an escape for several hours. I’ve listened to this author before and enjoyed them. The narrator was not new to me. I loved all the stories he read and will look for more. I highly recommend!

Excellent Audible book!!

This was such a fun book to listen to. Amanda is a struggling, independent young woman with a sassy mouth that gets her into trouble at work. Brady walks into her life and is drawn to her, but Amanda is not happy with him. But now long can she resist this caring, handsome and sexy father? Besides, he offers her a way out of her financial woes. I loved these characters and throw in a fantastic supporting cast that helps them realize what a great future they can achieve. Rodney Falcon seemed to have so much fun narrating this book. Love the emotions he portrayed. I asked to receive this Audible book and voluntarily wrote an unbiased review. I highly recommend this Audible book.

Good

This is your typical single dad romance. I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't more involvement between Brady and his young son Nicholas. What starts out as a business arrangement between Brady and Amanda quickly turns into so much more.

Rodney Falcon brought these characters to life which made me enjoy the story more than if I would have read it.

Cute story

I really enjoyed listening to this story. I love the narrator and his inflections. I recommend you pick this one up and give it a listen

Good

This was my first experience with this author and I will be sure to listen to and/or read others. I liked the idea of the story. Amanda had the type of sarcasm that I like. Her comments at work were something I could see slipping from my own mouth. The story felt a little rushed in spots, but had good flow.

Unlikely lovers

What starts out as a business deal ends up in true love. Kind of a “Pretty Woman” feel without the whore scene lol. I enjoyed this from start to finish. Narration was great as well. I will definitely listen to this again.
