Critic reviews

"The plots are so good that one marvels...most of them would have made a full length thriller." (Daily Mirror)

Entertaining though predictable

As expected from an Agatha Christie, this is a well written and entertaining story albeit with an easily guessable ending. Beautifully read by Hugh Fraser

A well read short story, but as often happens...

This was a well performed reading by a very good actor. Unfortunately, because of the short story format, the punchline was too obvious and too early.

Beware duplicate

This is a fine short story and is as well read as ever but be aware that is also appears in the collection entitled The Listerdale Mystery.
