About this listen
Cole Renzo thinks his greatest challenge is to behave for the remainder of his term at Halfway House. Until he meets his new boss, Ty Calloway, a man who ticks off every box on Cole's list of interests.
A sought-after restorer and customizer of exotic and collectible cars, Ty had enough confidence to command what he wanted in life, until one fateful night changed everything. Almost two years later, he's slowly rebuilding his life with great control. He's defied the odds and works tirelessly to be the man he once was - but he still feels broken.
Cole's candor and unfiltered personality awaken Ty's barely-remembered desire to greet each new day with a smile, while Ty's unwavering acceptance of Cole's quirks and brash humor makes Cole feel as if he fits in for the first time in far too long. When a nemesis threatens Ty's personal restoration and the things he holds dear, Cole is determined to protect their relationship, even if that means sacrificing everything he's worked so hard to achieve.
But Ty will have to let his guard down, surrender control, and admit he needs Cole first, even if that puts him at risk of breaking beyond repair.
This is book three in The Men of Halfway House series. Although part of a series, this book can be heard as a standalone.

A story/narrator match made in heaven...
When you mix a brilliant book with a fantastic narrator, this is what you get. I loved the paperback and the audio bring it to life in the best way possible. Greg Tremblay (again) does a great job of giving each character uniqueness and developing a mental image that totally matched my own from reading this story.
One of the best audiobooks I've heard and a definite favourite. Highly recommended.

Exciting
Jaime Reese and Greg Tremblay have brought a fast emotion-filled story to Audible - I would like the rest of the series to be available - they are just that good.

A winning combo for this series....
Another 5 star winner from the extremely busy and ever popular Mr Tremblay. I did find that his rendition of Jeff (senior tech in My-Ty's custom car complex) was uncannily similar to Bobby in Rhys Ford's Cole McGinnis series [wonder why that is?? :D]; however, it didn't bother me in the slightest. At least Greg has different voices to give to characters, unlike certain other narrators who shall remain nameless, and are definitely no longer on my listen-to list. ;)
This story remains one of my favourites simply because of the almost visceral love which grew between Cole and Ty, and the happiness that Cole brings to everyone around him...which is a far cry I have to say from my first impressions of him in A Hunted Man...I couldn't stand him, he annoyed the hell out of me. Thank goodness I'm not a hanging judge.
