Summary
There aren’t many options for a young woman in Philadelphia during the late 1800s — especially if she’s running away from an abusive family. Eighteen-year-old Aimee Mitcham flees the city for Rough Creek, Minnesota, to meet the man she has agreed to marry. As she waits at the train station to meet her new husband, tragedy strikes.
