Summary
Midlife’s a bumpy journey. The ride is a freaking roller coaster. The crisis is real.
With my life back to normal - normal being a very relative word - one would think I’d catch a break.
One would be very wrong.
With an angel gunning for me and a demon in my bed, life couldn’t be more complicated. Not to mention, I’m going to have to make a rather large life choice.
Do I want to live forever?
Does anyone? Forever is a very long time.
Whatever. I’ll think about it tomorrow...or next week...or next month. As long as I have my girlfriends, my dogs, a super-sized case of merlot, and my deceased squatters, I’m good to go.
My midlife crisis. My rules. If it doesn’t kill me dead first, I plan to have a most excellent midlife crisis.

Didn’t get to the story
Sorry. The narrator’s pitch not for me. Didn’t hang on enough to rate the story.

Still Great!
I started these books because they were free and looked interesting. I have been endlessly impressed with the story and, especially, the performance by the narrator. I seriously cannot wait to read the rest!

Squeaky wheels going downhill
DNF. The narrator killed any chance this story had. High pitched. Speaking at a mile a minute. She sounded like squeaky wheels going downhill.
I tried to push through but only have one life. It wasn’t worth shortening it by listening to this.
What I got from the story was a stereotypical nonsense.

Still Liking the Story BUT
I really feel the books could be twice as long. Instead of being at the end of book #4, I feel like it could easily be the end of book #2. I can finish these in a single day and it’s expensive to buy them all, so I’ll stop here for awhile and move onto something with a little more meat.
The narrator continues an outstanding performance. However, I’m starting to forget this is a story of a 40 year old. It is beginning to sound like it was written by someone who is 23, and is writing from what she thinks a 40 yr women’s perspective should be. It’s a wee bit juvenile. I skip past the love scenes - one serves for all forevermore.
I will probably pick this up again sometime later on when I’m fresh out of the good stuff. It’s all becoming a bit predictable now, although it remains imaginatively so. Maybe a palate cleanse will revive the rollicking fun of the first three books.

Funny but emotional
Every book gets better and better. The crazy antics of all the ghost and immortals are constantly making you laugh out load. Daisy armed with super glue a wing and a prayer is trying to navigate this new world she’s found her self in. Still trying to get justice for her dead gay husband she mind dives and finds out way more then she bargains fir. This book is filled with silly one liners, random gross knowledge and older then dirt immortals who have no social graces. There’s so much revealed in this book This book is also full of heart. Real unedited characters who have grown so much and you just cant help but love. Just adore this series. Again the narrator does a wonderful job and truly is perfect for this band of misfits.

Absolutely loved it!
Once again Daisy and her amazing friends took me on a wacky and beautiful adventure that left me dying for more. It had me laughing out loud and shedding a tear or two. I’ve definitely become attached to their little group. It’s wonderful to see how far they’ve all come, especially Daisy.
I would definitely recommend reading or listening to this segment of their journey.♥️

Holy smokes!!
Wowza!! Where do I even begin!! So much is discovered in this installment and it has built onto what we have previously discovered. The book continues to be hilarious and I love all of the characters. The plot twists were great and I’m diving into the next book.
The narrator, Jessica does a phenomenal job, and I LOVE the variety of voices she uses. She definitely elevates the book for me. It’s not a monotone voice. Easy to follow along and distinguish the voices for each characters. Highly recommend.

Interesting plot - ANNOYING PROTAGONIST
This is hard to rate since the story is good and most of the characters are great. But the protagonist is foolish, overly emotional, and bullheaded. She continually makes stupid assumptions. She drives me nuts! Robyn Peterman, PLEASE stop making her such an a-hole. I really want to finish the series.

The plot is getting better and better!
This book is excellent! I loved the plot development and the back-story unfolding in such intense ways. The humor is still there, though in smaller doses, rounding out the book in what I now refer to as my Peterman experience!
The narration is excellent! I still cannot understand the dead, but it doesn't take away from the story at all. The context always fills in the blanks.
As usual, I would not recommend this for a noisy environment, but if you don't mind missing a sentence or two here and there when the characters whisper, you will probably be able to follow along just fine.

Oh how she teases us. We are back and with ups and downs. Gram is here to help but is loving her new form.
I would love to see Daisy just kick butt and move on with here man. That's not how it will work will it.
Series is moving along nicely and of course it leaves you wanting more.
