Up -To-Date and Authoritative!
As a teacher and a guidance counselor, I can say with surety that this generation of teens are faced with so many distractions, stress and negative influences it pains my heart. The sad thing too is that many of these teens have no support nor the right resources to help them go through these tough situations. The result is a society with sad, angry, suicidal and hopeless teens. This book will help millions to gain the right mindset with which to be stronger and more able to pull themselves out of the deep despondent state they are in. The author has put together a rich guide that will get teens from a caterpillar to a butterfly. I have already shared this book with students, parents, educators, and family. Good job!

Purchased for my daughter.
I found this book for my daughter. Before we could schedule the training, a teen needed something to help deal with mixed feelings. She loves to write, so this was just the book. She loves it. We hope the other teens will like it as much.

Being Confident in yourself!
This audiobook was very insightful and provided helpful tips on how to become your best self. It is directed toward teens and, understandably so, as they go through a rollercoaster of changes in this period of life; however, I found that it can also be helpful for everyone. This book helps to develop and build your confidence, clear your thoughts of negativity and what others may think of you, and concentrate on your goals.
Chanter 12 was my favorite; it encourages you not to give up and be confident in your ability to push forward and achieve your goals.

Voice was pleasant and he made it seem like he was talking to us all. Very good points to apply to help us be a better person. Seemed to have nailed it spot on with a range of audience groups too! My kids even listened to it with me! Thank you so much!

Believe in Yourself
If you are like me, you've been advised to just 'believe in yourself.' You have tried, but often, you are left wondering, 'what exactly does that mean?' or 'I want to do that, how do I do it?' Well, this book helped me make some strides toward that end. It breaks down some of the things that get in the way of believing in yourself - comparing yourself to others - and helps you deal with them on a macro level. I feel like I am more willing to take risks after listening to this book, so thank you!

Supporting your teenager starts here
Every day at work I witness the crippling effects of low self-esteem in children and adolescents. Having suffered from high levels of social anxiety myself, I know how challenging it can be to deal with this on our own, especially within our teenage years. This is a beautiful listen to gift your children, if only to support them in becoming more grounded and empowered just being the way they are. It is a short listen and straight to the point, which is sure to be a hit with our young ones.

We are all human
Most self-esteem issues come from childhood. Growing up, I had anxiety issues and was socially awkward. The book was very relatable. I wish that I could have used those techniques when I was younger. However, I can still use them as I am older and more aware. The key is to face your fears and remember that everyone is human.

Great for reading & discussing with your teen
I was looking for a book to help my daughter who is starting high school soon. I’m so glad I picked up this book! It offers important guidance for teens with social anxiety and low self-esteem. Not only does this book address insecurities many teens face, it also lets them know that they aren’t alone in their feelings. The relevant examples and practical advice the author gives are perfect for opening discussions with my daughter and assessing how she can act with more confidence and self-assurance in her social life. The book is written in short chapters that are easy to digest, discuss, and apply. I would highly recommend this book to other parents as a helpful resource for building confident, well-adjusted teens.
