Summary

Gripping, moving and beautifully observed, this is a love story told from both sides, with warmth, tenderness and heart.

Whir, beep, click, breath. Whir, beep, click, breath.

Pippa Gallagher is rushed in to hospital following a traffic accident.

As Pippa lies unconscious, she is aware of fragments. The day she met Steve Gallagher, her best friend and the man who would become the love of her life. The heartbreak she felt tonight as she got into her car, her eyes blurry from tears.

Meanwhile Steve sits at her bedside, his eyes fixed on her pale, still face. He has no idea where his wife was going when she crashed. No clue as to why she became distracted behind the wheel. All he knows is that she is his world. And that he wasn't there when she needed him most.

For the next 12 hours, Steve tells Pippa all the reasons he loves her.

But is it too late? Can Pippa find her way back to him?

Couldn’t believe the story ended!

Absolutely loved this book. The story unfolded beautifully and I became very invested in the characters. The narration was excellent. I like using male
and female readers for respective characters.
I couldn’t believe I’d come to the end of the story. I didn’t want it to end. A great listen

12 Hours to say I love you

I found this story protracted and felt a lot of the content could have been left out.
However I read it to the end. It was charming, funny and sad in parts but too long to get to the conclusion.

Gripping

Even better as it’s read by the authors + 1. Had me enthralled. (Perhaps because I’m a nurse, but not a busman’s holiday at all!). Great premise, well executed. Hurry up and write another please.

Struggled to stay with this one.

Only managed to finish by fast forwarding a lot. Glad it's over. Onwards to the next one. 🤞

A charming, life-affirming novel.

This is a really tender, funny and heartwarming story.

It’s really beautifully structured and takes you on an emotional rollercoaster. One minute I was laughing out loud, the next really moved.

The audio performances are pitch perfect too and really bring it to life.

I really recommend this book.

Absolute Drivel!

I expected a tear jerking story of love.
instead I got a story of a hapless gormless photographer who fell in love with the self absorbed, narcissistic, spoilt, immature actress . The narration was all over. voice for the woman, voice for the man..but then some chapters had the woman speaking as the man. overly dramatic. characters you didn't care for. I could not wait for it to finish. Then at the end a burst of Shmalzy musak??! Thank God it was included!! otherwise I'd have returned. Absolute utter rubbish!!

Funny, sad, emotional all rolled into one!

Chose this on the spur of the moment. So glad I did. Narrators were the authors and you can tell. It’s laugh out loud in parts and very emotional in others. loved the storyline, the acting, everything about it! Would love these two to write another!

Enjoyable

Good narrating and engaging story. Pity about the implausible/unrealistic medical aspects which tainted it slightly but most non-medical people wouldn’t notice the inaccuracies. Overall very enjoyable

Absolutely loved this book

As someone who usually listens to crime dramas, this was quite a departure for me but I really loved this book. It’s told from both Pippa and Steve’s perspective, as well as flipping back into the past then back to the modern day which keeps it engaging. It covers some really heartbreaking topics with sensitivity and grace. I was left with goosebumps. I would highly recommend this book.

A simple story of life & love

A pretty straightforward story, told in retrospective and current snippets. OK but not great. A little bland.
