Why are these expected to be in third person? I’m the writer here; it seems silly to pretend that my bio was written by someone else. So, I’m Whitney Metz, and I write the Black Magick Series. I’m a long time vegan and like to include animal rights and environmental undertones in my work. I live in West Virginia, with Riley and Tuni, two pigs I adopted after an internship at Farm Sanctuary. I’ve tried many different career paths but, through them all, writing has been a constant. I believe that stories are a vital part of life, and that great ones have the power to change the world for the better. I spend the vast majority of my time living in the fantasy world inside my head. My current project is the Black Magick Series. It is a story about the world behind the one we see everyday, the importance of the connection we all share with each other and with the Earth, and about finding our true paths.
