Varun Sood is a Bengaluru-based journalist. He started his career with Business Standard and in the past fourteen years has worked with a number of publications, including Financial Times and The Economic Times. In his last role, he was a National Editor in charge of breaking stories at Mint. His first book, Azim Premji: The Man Beyond the Billions, an unauthorised biography of one of the world's great philanthropists, was released by HarperCollins in October 2020.
