Tom Allen

Tom Allen is British author of fiction and non-fiction. He was born in 1965 in Richmond, Surrey and still lives in the area to today. He was educated at Latymer Upper School and University College, London. He later qualified as a Chartered Surveyor and augmented his academic qualifications with an MBA from the leading French business school, HEC. He is married with two grown up children. The Charles Vernon Nash series is collection of novels recounting the adventures of a half-pay army officer after the Napoleonic Wars. A Thirst for Trade is the first book in this series. He has also been working on a biography of John Ridgway, Potter to Queen Victoria. In addition, Allen is working on a humoristic novel entitled, The Scotia-Mouldings. All of the names of the characters of this story are based on the technical terminology of the construction industry.
